Addis steps into the frame, dressed to compete.

Two weeks ago at the Overload season premiere, you wrestled your 1st official match in XWA against "The Big Ticket" Ethan Bain. A match that didn't exactly turn out how you'd hoped.

The only reason it didna' turn out how I'd hoped, is because I forgot one very important aspect of things. That Ethan Bain's not a wrestler. He's a brawler. There's not a single ounce of technical skill in 'is entoire' body. He's survived in this business by using nothin' but brute strength his entire career. And it's worked for 'im save for two instances. Matches he 'ad against one Dru Nedermeyer, and Magnus Von Schwartz. Two veterans who knew to beat Bain, it wasn't a matter of out powerin' 'im. It was a matter of out thinkin' 'im. A credible wrestler will beat a brawler every time. I got caught up in the moment two weeks ago, and he got the best of me as result. That's the one and only reason why I was defeated by him.

Sounds to me like you've got your eyes set on a rematch tonight.

I've got me eyes set on more then just a rematch. My eyes are set on makin' a statement to the Overload and Takedown rosters, as well as to those in power in this company. Anyone who steps foot in the ring with Bain never leaves the same. The only two men who have beaten him convincingly within the last four years are legends of the sport. But that's soon to be a distant mem'ry. My name might be included on 'is cute lil' "Body Count" now, but after I'm done with 'im tonight, I'm gonna be somethin' more then just one of the names on his list. I'm gonna be the third man ever to pin him one on one. And that m'dear lass...you can quote me on.

With a sly smirk on his face, Wesley leaves the interview area.

Vendetta returns to ringside, where the next match prepares to get underway.

A few segments would pass before Joe Beakman hunts Bain down for his response to Addis' challenge.

Hey Ethan. Did ya' hear what Wesley Addis had to say earlier?

Bain turns to Beakman with a stern look on his face.

Yea, I heard 'em. Sounds to me like Wes does his homework.

He turns to face the camera, focusing his words directly to Addis.

But ya' see my man, there's a big difference between Dru Nedermeyer, Magnus Von Schwartz, and you. Those two are at the top of their game every night they compete. Those two are perfectionists when they step in the ring. You're not. Cuz if ya' where, well...we wouldn't be havin' this discussion. And further more, I'm not the same man I was when I took those two on either. You're absolutely right when you said I've relied on brute strength my entire career. But somethin' happens when you rely on something to long. People adapt to it. And truth be told, I might be "The Big Ticket", but I ain't the biggest dog in the yard. I new I needed to up my game if I was gonna go from just being good, to bein' the best big man on the planet. So over the offseason, I went on out to California, and spent 5 months out there training with the one and only Simon Fierhart. A man who needs no introduction. A man who's been kickin' ass and takin' names longer then both of us have been alive. And what did he do? He tore me down and retooled me from the ground up. What you, and anyone else is facing in that ring is something you've barely even seen the best of. But you will. When you mess with the bull, you get the horns, my friend. And you're just gonna have to find out 1st hand how sharp those horns are.

So...does that mean the match is on?

Bain smirks.
