*The Tokyo Dome. Vendetta.
The pyrotechnics go off, explosions and fire galore, to kick off the Overload PPV of Vendetta, live from the Tokyo Dome. Approximately 40,000 Japanese XWA fans jump and scream and go crazy for the action to begin, for the show to start. A single spotlight focuses into the middle of the ring where Kyle Nobbs is standing. He has a red bruise on the side of his face and is holding his ribs with one hand, a microphone in the other. As the fans' craziness begins to subside, he raises the mic to his lips.*
"I honestly don't know how many of you in the crowd can understand the words coming out of my mouth at this moment. But like all people, I know you can understand feelings. So what I'm gonna do is show you a video clip, and tell you how I feel about it. Simple enough?"
*Nobbs points to the jumbotron to show the aforementioned clip. His most recent match on Overload. The ending specifically, where he got kicked in the face, knocked unconscious... By Brian Yang.*
"As you can all see, Brian Yang kicked me in the skull. As much as I would have liked to continue the match, the referee put a stop to it, unfairly. I could still go. Spirals could still go. The match should not have been stopped. But regardless of the circumstances, the match came to an end.
However, that doesn't mean I'm done with you, Yang! Because you see, Yang, I'm pretty pissed off!
That kick of yours is deadly. I'll admit it. You're one hell of a competitor Yang, and you've got the skills to go anywhere. But you've shown recklessness and a disregard for your coworkers' safety with that kick to the head. Contrary to popular belief, the goal of pro wrestling isn't to murder your opponent, it's to beat him for a three count. Just a three count!
*Nobbs pauses for a moment to plaster on his trademark smirk.*
"Until certain circumstances come into play. Certain stipulations I mean.
If that's how you wanna play, Yang, I have no problem! If you wanna go around trying to knock your opponents' heads off their skulls, go for it! But I'm taking that one kick personal! And I'm challenging you to a rematch where anything goes!
You wanna knock me out, Brian Yang? Try it again. I'm challenging you to a Last Man Standing match!"
*Nobbs walks to the side of the ring, leaning on the ropes and staring up the ramp waiting for Yang to come out with a response.*
