A familiar question asked over the PA that the fans had come to expect as the jumped to their feet. That meant that "The Purple One" was on his way to the ring, and tonight was a big deal.

Goldman: Yes, the fans can dig it! It's Syrus The Entertainer, and tonight he's got a huge opportunity...but the question right now I ask of you partner as he prepares to battle for the XWA Championship is...is he 100%?

Buzz: There's no way he can be. I mean he looks pretty good now, but last week he took a backstage attack from MG and then had to compete against Jeremy Pendelton & Robby Sylk, who saw fit to exploits his prior injury. Even with rest & rehab, there's no way in my opinion that he's 100% in this match...

He steps inside of the ring, smiling confident as the crowd chants his name, then blatantly steals some other dude's line.

ILL-adelphia, PA...WASSUP!?

Haha, I'll tell you wassup...too-night...in this very ring...Syrus The Entertainer vs. Tommy Tryton for the XWA Championship!!!

The fans cheer in anticipation of the main event.

A match that three men tried to make not happen tonight. You know who they are...MG, Robby Sylk & Jeremy Pendelton.

Those cheers temporarily turn to boos now as the treacherous three are mention...

I suppose one of them, or hell, all of them musta thought that if they took me out that they could take my spot and my shot. Well, you gotta do a better job that last week if you wanted that to happen fellas!

It'd take fleet of tanks to stop me from wrestling tonight!

It'd take a natural disaster to stop me from wrestling tonight!

It'd take...Sonya with that "come hither" look in her eyes and a can of whip cream to stop me from wrestling tonight!

The bottom line is that I'm not stopping for nothing and nobody tonight, because tonight I get the chance to regain the title I lost in The Crucible against the very man who won that match! That don't happen all the time now folks. You see, titles sometimes have a tendency of changing hands a lot, but Tommy Tryton's had himself quite a lil' run as the champ, hasn't he?

The fans agree.

Tonight, we get to see...I get to see...if the man's still got that fire he had ending last year. If he's still got the drive. If he's gonna turn it up or if he lost a step in the offseason. If I took anything from that tag match, I'd think to myself that he's still on his "A-game"...but Tommy, that was just the undercard, brotha. Tonight...is the MAIN EVENT!!!

Tonight, we gonna bring it hard, we're gonna tear this joint down, and we're gonna show all the other guys who wanna be where we are...three of them in particular...just why we are where we are! Sounds good to me, how about ya'll?

The crowds responds with a loud "YEAH!"

That's what I like to hear. Now will the XWA Champion please make his way to center of the ring?

And all in attendance await for Tryton to do just that.

Ladies & Gentlemen by Saliva hits the PA, and the fans come unglued as the WA World Champion steps out from behind the curtain. Doning his gold tights and wearing the title around his waist, Tryton makes his way down to ringside given high fives to the front row fans along the way. In two motions, he one foots up to the ring apron, then leapfrogs over the top rope into the ring showing off his natural athleticism. Inside of the ring, he gives and approving nod of the head to Syrus before bounding up to the 2nd. turnbuckle of the nearest corner, raising his arms in the air. He drops back down to the ring and motions for a mic of his own soon after.

I have to give it to Sylky-Boy, Pendleton and MG. It must have taken a feat of inhuman ability to be able to sit in a room for that long with each other and concoct the nefarious planned they tried...key word "tried" to execute last week to take you out of the main event, Syrus. I say inhuman ability because having three egos in a room that big is like being stuck in a room with Mustard Gas being funneled in from all sides. The air had to be so sick a normal man would suffocate.

Cheers and chuckles from the fans follow.

But much like all hair-brained ideas, it backfired on them, cuz here we are tonight. Here to compete for the richest prize in the sport, the XWA World Title. A title that like you said, I won at The Crucibal. A grueling contest where the winner is the man who can rack up the most pins out of four total competitors in a 60 minute time limit. It's where I won the title, and you lost it, Syrus. But the way I remember it, it wasn't as satisfying a win for me as it could be. See Syrus, there's no one I wanted to face more during my run as champion then you, my man. Because while I did get the most pinfalls in The Crucibal last year, there's one man in that match I didn't pin a single time.

Buzz: Come to think of it, he's right! Tommy Tryton, Syrus The Entertainer and Overload's Lionel Xander and Jonny Punch competed in that match. Tryton and Xander where tied at 2 pins a piece late in the match, and Tryton managed a quick pin on Punch with mere minutes left to secure the win.

If I had any say on the matter, you would have had your rematch at OTS. But of course we all know that the very night I won, Pendleton decided to call his shot. And we all know how that went at OTS between him and I. But that withstanding, tonight to me is a night of closure. The night I can truly put a stamp on my reign, by beating you...the champion who was never pinned for his title. I know you're one of the most humblest guys in the game, Syrus. The kind of guy who doesn't make excuses win or lose. But this match between us tonight, unlike any match I think either of us has competed in our entire careers, is going to be about one thing, and one thing only. Proving whose worthy enough to be called XWA World Champion. And win or lose, I'm looking forward to it. It's been a long time since I stepped in the ring with a guy who either didn't hate my guts or had his own hidden agenda. Let's make it a memorable one.
