Calling The Shots (Invite)

A week removed from one of the most unexpected moments in recent TakeDown history, the stage was now XWA's first PPV of the new season, Madness 2010. The roar of the crowd in attendance would quickly sour into boos when the sound of Nelly Furtado's "Maneater" began to play though, because that meant the #1 contender for the Diamond Title was about to make an appearance, and as she walked out from the backstage area, she didn't come alone.

Goldman: Well, there goes Channelle ladies and gentlemen, and right now this woman has all the cards...which doesn't bode too well for the Diamond Champion Jamie Fury.

Buzz: Last week, she managed to score a controversial victory against the champ with the help of that woman who's currently joining her in the ring. She looks so familiar though, I just can't put my finger on who she might be though...

Channelle and her guest were now inside of the ring. The boos came hard and heavy towards them, but the ever-confident Channelle was all smiles as she put the mic to her lips.

Ladies and gentlemen, tonight you're all going to see the crowning of a two-time Diamond Champion...me! Why is that? Because there's no way on earth that even the mighty "Steel Diamond" is going to be able to overcome the odds I have planned for her.

Since I won at Takedown, that means tonight I get to choose the stipulation for the title match here at Madness, and I know exactly what I have planned. First though, before I get to that I want to introduce to you all a brand new associate of mines. Some of you may recognize her, some may not. Last time she was here, she was the secretary to the CEO of XCW as they tried to invade the company. Well, through my persuasive influence, she's now under contract with the XWA. Say hello everyone to Ms. Karen Chao!

As Chao sarcastically waved, Goldman speaks to the home audience.

Goldman: You were right then about her looking familiar Buzz. How in the hell does one of those "Invaders" end up with an XWA contract anyway?

Buzz: More importantly, why is she paired up with Channelle? Well, seeing as who Karen associated with in the past, these two look like peas in a pod.

You might be surprised to hear it, but Karen is quite the competitor herself. You're going to get really familiar with Karen tonight though Jamie, because the stipulation that I choose for our match is going to be...

Chan paused for a moment to build up the suspense, then dropped the bomb.

...a HANDICAP MATCH!

Buzz: You gotta be kidding me!!! What a dirty little...

Goldman: Hey, calm down partner! I agree though, this is a low-down dirty move by Channelle here, not too surprising though.

That's right. Tonight you're going to have to contend with both me and Karen here, 2-on-1, and if one of us beats you, then I walk out of here with the Diamond Title and once again take the throne that was always mine in the first place as the "Queen of the XWA"! I hope you've got your callesthetics done champ, because you are in for a long, long, looooooooooooong night!

After Channelle made her announcement, Karen then asked for the mic. Chan graciously hands it to her, and the newcomer (of sorts) speaks to the crowd.

You all are probably thinking to yourself, what am I doing here? Well, like Chan said, she pulled some strings to get me in the door...and why? Because you should never pass up on a good thing, that's why!

The way I see it, the Diamond Division has been missing something for a long time. I'm hear for one thing and one thing only, and that's to cause a ruckus like you've never imagined. You know, now that I think of it, that's what "we" were here to do in the first place last year, wasn't it? Well, the difference is that now I'm actually on the payroll, and now I'm doing it for nothing more than my own amusement.

Jamie, it's going to be really amusing to see how you're going to be able to handle two opponents at once. You've got this whole "superwoman" kind of vibe going on with you that I have to say I'm sooooooo sick of right now. Tonight, Channelle and I are gonna show everyone just how human you really are, and the only thing that's gonna be more satisfying than see you on your back is seeing the look on all these fans faces when their precious little superheroine gets taken out by the "bad girls". I'm looking forward to it.

Karen and Channelle both grinned, their confidence almost bursting over. That's when the champ's theme began to play.

Jamie steps out onto the stage to a roar from the crowd as they welcome the champ to their city. She stays there on stage, still in her street clothes-silver blouse, short black skirt & black high heels-with the title over her shoulder.

Goldman: There's the champ, and the look on her face is one of a woman who's all business.

In her other hand was a mic, that she raised to her lips to address this devious duo.

You know something Channelle? You don't surprise me one bit. I don't think you really surprise anyone anymore. I mean, someone could think of the most underhanded, opportunistic, sneaky, conniving thing they could possibly do...and they stop and think to themselves "there's no way I could possibly do that". But you? You do it all the time! Any chance you get, any opportunity you can find to get the upper hand, you'll take in a heartbeat.

So tonight, you and your new "BFF" are going to try to beat me down, like you tried to beat me down last week, is that right? Is that because you know that the only way you could take this title from me would be to have some help doing it? I wholeheartedly think so. There's a difference between last week though and tonight.

Last week, Karen Chao...you had to sneak up from behind to get the job done. Tonight, the both of you are going to be face-to-face with me. If you think your chances are going to be any better ladies, you've got another thing coming!

At that point the fans were exploding with excitement at Jamie's words of confidence.

It's safe to say that the deck is stacked against me, just how you wanted it to be I suppose Channelle. But I'm not gonna let you win. I'm not gonna let you get away with this, or have your way. Most important, I'm not going to let this belt, which represents true strength and pride in what we do, fall into the grimey mitts of an evil wench like you!

Buzz: Oh yeah, she is definitely all business tonight! I don't think it matters if there's two of them or 200 of them!

So, you two had better be ready for a war, because tonight it's going to take everything you have and then some to keep me down. With these fans as my witness though, I'm saying this right here and now...tonight I'm going to put you two wicked witches where you belong, under the house I'm about to drop on your asses!
