Following a vignette highlighting Overload's trip to Japan, MADNESS returns live to the interview area and Fabiola.
At this time, I'd like to bring in my guest..."The Viking" Buliwyf.
The towering giant steps into the frame.
You asked for this time, so what's on your mind?
What's on my mind is the rampant disappointment I've found since joining XWA. Of all the men I have faced since my arrival, one has offered me a challenge. One man out of a roster of so called "athletes". This troubles and frustrates me to no end. Last week on Takedown, I issued a challenge that three men, A.Cee Infamous, Sebastien Schlager and Jeff Legend...answered. And neither man was able to meet the challenge. I again had my hand raised in victory. My question to XWA management is simple. Is this truly the best you can muster? Perhaps I'm on the wrong brand. Across on Overload I see a number of worthy foes who would more then be up to the task. Here on Takedown, the competition is a joke. If it where a sport of how well a man can trump himself up in words, the men of this brand would be indeed elite. But only Xander Xavier Luther has been able to match me blow for blow in the ring.[/b]
I...I guess that would be a bit of a problem.
Indeed...it is. When a blade isn't used to it's fullest ability, it dulls. And I refuse to let my ax dull. The time has come for me to take my rightful place in XWA. Which is why right now, I am personally challenging the winner between Tommy Tryton and Syrus The Entertainer. There is no man on roster worthier then I, and there is no man on roster who has dominated in the last several months as I. And I defy any man to prove me wrong.
But...what about tonight?
I grow weary of issuing challenge after challenge, and having them fall upon the ears of men who are unworthy. Men who do not belong in the same ring as I. No more! I've bided my time long enough. Since my arrival, I have destroyed all who have stood before me. I have proven in my wins over Luther that I can defeat a man who has held multiple championships. Now comes the time for me...to be champion. I have no reason to compete tonight, my point was proven last week. What I will do is sit back and observe the World Title match. For to the man who wins, a storm looms that he will not soon weather without facing his tribulation.
With that Buliwyf leaves the interview area. MADNESS returns to ringside.
Buzz: That's what I call staking your claim. And who's to dispute Buliwyf as being a legitimate No.1 contender? He's only lost two matches since he came to XWA, both against XXL. But he beat XXL two times as well, on top of the number of superstars he's laid waste to in the mean time.
Matt: I'd have to agree with you, partner. The man has dominated since day one. If there's anyone on roster who deserves to be next up for the World Title, it's Buliwyf. Whoever wins between Tryton and Syrus isn't going to be able to enjoy it for long.
