Now, I'm gonna buy Red Dead Redemption, but the deciding factor on what system for me will be this. If I do get it for PS3, will any of you be getting it for PS3, so we can have our very own band of outlaws online ??

I have it on 360 (well technically, my stepdad owns the game but ). Me personally, I would have bought it on PS3 simply because I don't have X-Live Gold anymore and I REALLY wanna play this game online. So best way to do that would be on PS3, since its free. But if you have Gold on 360. Then your in good shape. So really, the bottom line is. Its just more of a preference thing. The game is pretty much identical on both consoles for graphics & sound. For the controls, from what I have played on the 360 they are really solid. Can't say for PS3 since I haven't tried that version yet obviously. EDIT: On 2nd thought. The 360 has SLIGHTLY better detail on the graphics. But the difference is very minimal as you can see in the pics. 360 Version PS3 Version

A. Nope. There not mixed up. But regardless, the game is the same on both consoles. The only minor difference in the graphics is just in detail with the little stuff. Like the tree's, grass, boulders, etc. Nothing that will take away from the awesomeness of the game play. But nonetheless, it was just a little minor difference that had to be pointed out. B. I'm considering getting the PS3 version at a later date. Just so I can play it online lol. Then again, I could just renew my gold account for another year. But I dunno. I'm undecided on signing up for gold again really. Seems like every time I get the money to buy one. I always end up using the money to reserve/pick up a new game XD.

Ya Brandon, I'm prolly gonna end up getting it for 360 now, just cuz I'm not sure why.......but you've got a shitload of games already dude, I think you need to slow down on getting the new ones, renew your Gold subscription and enjoy what games you've already got.
Trust me, there's a lot of games out there right now that I want, but I know I need to prioritize whatever little money I have.

In regards to the graphics... Do they really matter? Nope.
I got it for PS3, by the way. Pre-ordered and bought it online. It arrived yesterday. I just can't play it yet.
