A video piece is aired during TakeDown right after a commercial break. The setting is some run-down back alley of Brooklyn, NY. The voice speaking is one that's pretty familiar to XWA fans, but what he says is something unexpected.
All I hear about left and right is about how guys in this business think they're all so tough. It makes me laugh some of the crap they say...like being ina wrestling ring in front of thousands of fans and pinning a guy's shoulders down a couple of times all of a sudden makes you a "bad man".
Try surviving on the streets, where when you get in a fight there's no bell to stop you and no refs to protect you. That's how we do things where I come from and it's time I show some of these punks that fact.
I've been "back-up" for a long time. I've protected stars, musicians, even public officials. Now, I have a new "boss". Myself. Starting now, it's all about me and what it is that I'm gonna do.
Finally after all that, the man formerly known as Breaker steps into clear view, staring straight into the camera.
The name is Tony Battaglia, and the question I got for the XWA now is...who's gonna protect you from me?
