I didn't see a topic on this already so... And, I just found out about it, so I'm sorry if its old news to any of you guys but this has officially ruined my day from the moment I read about it earlier and I just need to get it out. Peter Steele, singer of the band Type O Negative passed away on April 14th, 2010 of heart failure.... Old news to some of you guys I'm sure but I've been real busy the last couple of weeks, constantly going and running around so I didn't get much time to hear any news on pretty much... Anything. Now I wish I had just stayed busy... :/ but yeah... April 14th, sad day for the music industry. They just lost a genius. RIP Peter. You will be missed.

heard this, really sucks. Listened to all the Type O CD's the day I heard and watched the "After Dark" home video when I got home that night.
He'll be missed.

Sucks to hear. I didn't listen to them much, but what I had listened to was pretty good. Regardless, it's always a bad time when someone people look up to dies.

He had one of the most unique voices in the business. I 1st got on to Type O while playing a VERY obscure PS1 game called Decent, of which had Type O songs on the soundtrack. Been a fan ever since. He will indeed be missed.
