I also liked the who was the best historical and who was the best modern warrior episodes on before Season 2's premiere. Personally, I think that the Spetsnaz winning best modern warrior is bullshit when clearly the IRA is superior.
PS: I'm also really psyched for the Deadliest Warrior Xbox Live Arcade game.

In all sense of the word in a real world scenario, the IRA would beat the Spetsnaz hands down, the IRA fought guerilla warfare against the invading British army for well over 60 years and even though they've disarmed they're still fighting in spirit to this day. The British army for heaven's sake, not just one division of one army, an actual army. There's no way that the Spetsnaz would win easily, if and its a big IF they beat the IRA it would all have to do with how many guys they decide to bring.
People say their cause doesn't justify their violence but it does, they warn people before they cause havoc to prevent innocent people from getting hurt.......therefore, not terrorists.
Long live a free and independant Ireland !!!!!!!! ;D
BTW I'm really looking forward to the Nazi SS versus the Viet Cong, hoping the Nazi SS wins that one.
