Backstage during Overload, we join Upper Echelon members Scott O'Dell, Primo Valiante, Bryan Jasta, Osiris Alston and Kaster Troy in their dressing room.
Gentlemen. Tonight we set the tone, and make a bold statement towards our goal. The offseason seems to have helped Stan O'Mally forget the fact that in the final three months of 2009, we were kinda' kicking him and his boys asses. We had momentum on our side, but my loss to Jones at XGames halted it. And I wanna apologize for that. It will not happen again. Tonight, I'm gonna right the wrong me losing to that chump one on one. And I want it to stick out like a sore thumb. That's why tonight when I take him on, I'll do it solo. No interference, no ambushes. I want the satisfaction of beating his ass on national television all to myself.

With his arms folded and a stern look upon his face, Jasta replies.
It's not a questions to if you beat him, it's if you CAN beat him. Jones has had your number since 2008. Two straight matches at XGames you've faced him, and in both encounters, he was the one to win. This is beyond your pride, Scott. Or less you forget we actually have a task to complete amidst all of this.

O'Dell turns to Jasta with a none to thrilled look on his face.
Tell me you didn't just say that. Beyond my pride? Are you serious? I know exactly what I'm doing, Jasta. The man has a knack for pulling out a win from the jaws of defeat, just like his "brotha' from anutha mutha" Jon Payne. He won't get the chance to tonight. Don't worry about how I hold up against him. You and Primo have your own "task" to take care off.

Right on cue, the Administrative Director of XWA Marshall Dane, a man that Primo in particular was quite familiar with, enters the dressing room.
Fellas, I have to say it's great to make all of your acquaintances again. It's been far to long, Primo. You look great. I...couldn't help but overhear the conversation before I walked in. Let me assure you gentlemen that I indeed, am sympathetic to your cause. In fact, that's the reason why Primo asked me to meet with you all. Primo and I have done business before. Back in 2007 when we both were how you say...sympathetic to the cause of one Sabastian Gallas. Trust me when I say that the last thing I wanted was to have Stan O'Malley as Overload's GM. There were a number of other far qualified candidates for the job. But against my advising, Gallas pulled the trigger on bringing him on. I would have personally choose someone else...but that's aside from the point. Primo, if you will?

Primo's cue to speak had arrived.
Mr. Dane here has gone ahead and booked the rest of us in matches that will be how you say, "beneficial" to our cause. Bryan, you and I will be teaming up tonight to face Osh Vaughn and Adam Devlin in a Tornado Tag match.
He then looks towards Alston and Kastor.
And the two of you will be teaming up in a similar capacity to take on Ryan Fierhart and Van Hayden. Yang and The Burns Brothers naturally have their own engagements to attend to. It's imperative tonight that none of us....NONE of us, lose sight of the goal. Last year, we backed O'Malley and his troops into a corner without so much of a single bit of authoritative assistance. This year, we have the sympathetic ear of Mr. Dane here to fall back on. One way or another O'Malley's finished as GM. We're either going make him look so bad that he resigns to save face, or we crush anyone who's sided with him so badly that he no longer has allies to fall back on.

Dane adds;
Well, as I'm an XWA executive, I can't be partial in an official capacity. But, I do see that there's merit in give you gentlemen some form of assistance. What I do know, is that O'Malley has abused his power as GM, and used that status and position to his own personal gains, that being making things difficult for all of you. As well as giving hand-outs to less then deserving talent in my opinion. But that's another issue I plan on addressing another time. That my friends, I can't stand for. A General Manager is supposed to be impartial to all sides, and his focus is to maintain the order and productive of his station. In that regard, both Overload and Takedown's GMs have failed in their own respects. O'Malley, for favoritism of talent, and Roach, for managerial incompetence. Fear not though, gentlemen. I'm righting the ship slowly but surely. All I ask of you in return is to get the job done. The Board likes those who net positive results.

Jasta takes a moment to ponder what had just been laid in front of him and the others.
Positive results you say? And by those results I would guess you mean anything that nets ratings. Those shock value moments that people talk about for weeks on end?

With a shrill grin, Dane replies.
Exactly. Now, if you gentlemen will excuse me. I need to go have a face to face with the GM myself. Good luck out there, fellas.
Dane then takes his leave of the dressing room.

As Marshall Dane leaves the dressing room, Kastor Troy rises up from his seat and speaks in response to what had just been laid forth.
A shock value moment? *Heh heh heh* Oh I think Alston and I can definitely provide one of those tonight. In fact, I have just the moment in mind. Alston, let's take a walk, shall we?
With a grin on his face as the evil wheels spun in his head, Troy and Alston exit the dressing room, leaving O'Dell, Primo and Jasta to conclude their conversation.

As they leave, Scott speaks once again.
Well now, I guess we all have something to take care of tonight. Three matches and the chance to stick to O'Malley and his band of merry men in one shot. I like our chances.

Jasta smirks. Without utter another word, he walks between Primo and O'Dell, exiting the dressing room as well.

A curious look crosses O'Dell's face as Jasta leaves. He looks to Primo and asks;
Tha' hell was that all about?

Resting his hand on O'Dell's shoulder, Primo answers.
Don't mind him. 4 months away from his weekly gorging in blood has made him a little cranky. Once we get our hands on Vaughn and Devlin, he'll get it out of his system.
The scene ends with a shot of Primo giving O'Dell and encouraging grin. We would find out what the GM Stan O'Malley and the collective members of The Bravehearts later in the broadcast.
