I just back from seeing Kick-Ass. It was hands down one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time. It was fairly long, but didn't feel like it to me until it was over, it had great action, and it had the most badass little girl EVER to be seen on the silver screen. If it wasn't for me being a lazy dude I would have been on the edge of my seat.
Very bloody, very violent, very funny, very good.
Anyone else see it, and willing to offer their thoughts? Anyone interested in seeing it, and wanting to ask questions?

i saw it last week and it was fuck-tastic i luv it from begin to end and wen it all finished i actually thought of being a superhero... stupid i noe but it was awesome. If you guys haven't seen it and blood, violence and comedy is ur thing den definitely see this film Man if dat lil girl was older i wud do her  ;D |

I saw the ads for the movie and it looked half decent. Hearing that it turned out to be really good, might go see it if it's still in theatres in August, which I doubt it will be lol.

Just got back, and OH MY GAWD was it awesome. Hit-Girl is the most epic character EVER!

I read the comic last year. (Yes, the movie is actually based on a comic) and I was very happy to see they kept to the source material completely. Hitgirl is worth the price of admission alone. I don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, but the scene where she "carves up" a few bad guys was awesome. Chloe Moretz, the young actress who plays Hitgirl actually did some training with the Yuen Wu Ping Fight Team to prepare for the role. For the non action film initiated, if you've seen a martial art movie fight scene since 2000 that didn't have Tony Ja in it, chances are Wu Ping choreographed it.
