2…3…4…
As Takedown continues Papa Roach’s M-80 explodes through the arena. The new theme to announce the arrival of one man…Chris Dynamite.
Goldman: Oh, it looks like the self-proclaimed Ace is back… BuZz: Ah crap, I was hoping he’d stay gone.
Stepping out onto the stage, fashionably dressed, he smirks at the roar of boos and jeers. Pausing for a second, he raises the mic to his lips.
Shhhhhhh…. Is that it? Is that all you have for me after those months away? The months you’ve been starved of the shining light I provide to you people, is there nothing else?
As the boos rain down again Dynamite begins to saunter down the ramp to the ring,
Unsurprisingly, I’m not here to talk about you people and your reactions. You see I’ve been here in the XWA for a year now, and you know what I’ve noticed? This company doesn’t respect me. Now don’t get me wrong I don’t expect respect from you people, but let’s take a moment to walk down memory lane shall we? Last year, the XWA opener, a flood of new talent poured into the company. I know, I know, I didn’t do enough to make an impression did I? Really? Are you serious? I was the only one man enough to challenge the Death Metal Goliath in his XWA debut, I was the last standing member of team Takedown in the Bragging Rights Match. I did something even Magnus Von Schwartz couldn’t do and took Romeo Davis Pure Title, becoming the first rookie to hold gold. Oh, and I ruined the debut of one Jakey Slayde.
the fans boo this list as Dynamite walks round the ring to the announce table,
So that gets us to XGamesIII, the big send off to the season, the moment when legends are made. he looks at the announce team Goldman, you’re a wrestling encyclopaedia, why don’t you remind us all what I did at XGames?
You challenged Blade Myers for the Pure Title
I challenged Blade for the Pure Title, well done Goldy he turns away and climbs into the ring And he even accepted, match set, me and Blade one on one, Pure Title. Then I got backstage. Someone kindly told me that the top brass wouldn’t clear the match. Sorry, no chance, Chris Dynamite isn’t on the card for the biggest show of the year. Are you freaking serious?! But that’s the point isn’t it? In this company, you’re either in the in-crowd, or you’re out! Hell even people like Dan Ripley, Scott Epic, Jeremy Pendleton, are having to go above the system to get their dues, and why? Because the XWA is filled with established stars and veterans holding down newcomers, and clinging desperately to their spots. Hell our reigning No Limits champ was gift wrapped about 20 shots at that belt, because top brass like him, but I wasn’t allowed a Pure Title match. He looks around as the crowd cheer that statement XWA’s booking and hierarchy are a joke. There’s no place for the megastars of the future, because the fossils of yesterday are clogging up the card. But, as Romeo and Jakey Slade can confirm, I am the master of stealing the punch line. If the XWA think they can avoid giving me the spot I deserve they have another think coming. And this year I’m going to be simply UnTouchAble! As Dynamite poses in the ring he is interrupted by unexpected music…

'Hunt You Down' by Saliva hits the PA System. Genesis comes out. Dressed in a nice, and snazzy looking suit & tie. Despite the loss at Union. He seems a bit on the cheerful side. For those who knew Gen. very well. That's a bit of a shock. As he doesn't take too kindly to losing. Especially if its a major match.
Gen. makes his way down the aisle, and enters the ring. Welcomed to the arena by a chorus of cheers & some boo's here & there. He motions quickly for the music to be cut off. As it does so. He grabs a microphone nearby and begins to speak.
You know what I hear backstage ? I hear a snot-nosed, spoiled little brat running around acting like WE at the XWA owe you something !
What is with you, bro ? You come out here. Throwing a hissy fit about guys jumping ahead of you and how you did this, you did that.
So lemme give you a small piece of advice, Dynamite. Throwing a bitch fit won't get you anywhere in this business. Especially here at the XWA. Matter of fact. I'm surprised Gallas or Carmella haven't come out here and personally fired you in front of the world.
But maybe... just maybe... there is help for you yet.
You see, I remember over a year ago. When you debuted for XWA. Despite a rough & rocky start. You started to get on a nice little roll here. Then, all of sudden ? Just like that *snaps his fingers*. You was gone. You disappeared on his, Chris.
Then you come back now, and you wonder why guys like myself, Scott Epic, Kayn, S.T.E and others on miles ahead of the competition ? Its real simple, Chris. The business moves on. With... or without you.
When you disappeared. Do you really think that time stopped just to wait on you to come back ? Hell no, kid ! Just because a rat decides its time to make a jump off a ship. Doesn't mean we stop to help you back on board. Its sink or swim.
Now that you are back. The only thing you can do is dry yourself off and head back into the game full speed ahead. Forget about what you did before here. Don't let the success of others get in the way of YOUR dreams, Dynamite.
If you really... REALLY want to be a major success story in the XWA. It takes alot of hard work, dedication and COMMITMENT. If you can't do either of those three things. Then I suggest you jump back off the ship and start swimming for shore.
Reason your story hits a nerve with me is because. Three years ago, I was just like you. I was young, hard-headed, arrogant. I really didn't know anything about the wrestling business other then I had a got couple of lucky breaks from another promotion.
Like you, I made the mistake of jumping off this ship. Wanting nothing to do with this company. However, due to a few acts of kindness and learning a few things about this business and more importantly, about myself as a human being. And how I had to adapt & change my ways. Things started to look up for me and I grew to be a different guy. Inside, and outside the ring.
So for you, Chris. Don't make the same mistakes I made. Whether you want it or not. I want to help you. I may sound like a broken record again for saying this. But I really do see alot of the 'old me' inside of you. I think I can help you change. Become a better person. And as such, become a better performer here in the XWA.
And who knows ? Maybe you'll become a 2010 Combatant Xtraordinaire. How does that sound to you ? I can't make any promises on that. But, with enough hard work. I truly believe. You can make that happen.
However, there is one thing that still troubles me, Chris. Why did you leave us ? Was it really over not being on the card, or was it something more then that ?
I just believe, and I know these people believe. There is something more to this story then your letting on.
Gen. lowers the mic.

Dynamite leans into Genesis
Really Genesis? You really want to know? You people really want to know?
Then let me say this nice and slowly, so that you can all take it in, I - Dont - Give - A - Damn - What - You - Want!!
Have you come out here to sort me out Genesis? Huh? You here to put the mouthy rookie in his place? Going to straighten me out? Or could it be that you're just out here proving my point? You're out here interjecting cos you've been around a while, and that means you can. You've drifted around this business for a few years, so you can step in on anyone's time whenever you feel like it?! That's more like it, isn't it?
You see Gen I didn't disappear last year, I didnt drop off the face of the earth. I got battered by Blade Myers, spent a month going the distance with Jake Slayde, and where did it get me? Oh yeah, ignored!
It got me pushed right down the card to make way for new shining lights, or old-timers unwilling to risk their spots.
So i stepped back to reasses. But not reasses my place in this company, oh no, you cant get rid of me that easily.
You see I'm not a quitter, Gen. It didn't occur to me to jump ship to another company...which i guess makes...oh, one of us
Dynamite smirks as the fans boo his remarks
BuZz: This kid really has no idea does he? Goldman: and I still think he's hiding something,
But i guess i should thank you Genesis. You see something you said made some sense. Something about commitment, about hard work, and about the potential I have. You know, I was thinking, maybe with a little hard work, some guidance, and the right attitude i could really make it in....
he bursts out laughing Ahahaha... Im sorry i cant even keep that up! The looks on all your faces...
You know what Genesis, ask yourself one question.
You may think i need your help. But what the hell makes you think im going to listen to you anymore than anyone else?

Gen. shakes his head, and has about had it with Dynamite's attitude and demeanor:
You know what, Chris. That's your problem. When help is given to you. You shy away from it. Thinking your 'too big' for anyone's help or kindness.
For starters. From one 'old dog' to a 'young puppy'. Lemme say this: "STOP WITH THE HOLIER THEN THOU ATTITUDE !"
Because that my friend. Will get you nowhere fast. Believe me, I know. I was just like you before, with that very same attitude. Sadly enough, Dynamite. Your not the only superstar with that attitude. Who wants the business for themselves. And I hope, and pray. That I can change you in time before its too late. That, its okay to be who you are. But, no matter what happens. You but this business in front of your own needs and wants.
In wrestling, in the XWA, just like anywhere else you go to. Its not about 'me', me', 'me', all the time. Instead of taking away from the business. You start giving to the business. In other words, when you become, for example, one of the companies highest paid attractions. Or perhaps, when you become a World Heavyweight Champion. You don't let that go to your head, man.
Because if you do. You start thinking because your 'the man'. That your better then everyone in the organization, and in the world. And that's NOT the right attitude to have. When you get into that spot. Be proud of it, and HONORED that you made it that far to get to that particular point. Then afterwords. See it as a game of trying to stay on top of the mountain as long as you can. How do you do that ?
Be a fighting champion. You go out there, and just simply do the job you was destined to do. Put the asses in the seats. That is what we do. That is our job as professional wrestlers. Sure, some may do it better then others. But the fact remains. That is the role of a wrestler. Draw in crowds, make money for the company, & put asses in the seats. That's it. Your no better then any one other wrestler, PERIOD !
That is my role, and I accept that. There's others who can't and feel similar to the way you feel. That you have to be somebody else and be bigger, and badder then every other man & woman here. And fact is. That's a cop out and a big sign of your own insecurities. Its those same people. Who carry that attitude. That our responsible for the decline of professional wrestling.
And in case you haven't noticed, Dynamite. The XWA is the ONLY big place left in town. If you can't make it here. Then you might as well pack your bags & go home. Fact is, there are really no other places left on a worldwide. And hell, even a national level like we our.
Why is that, you ask ? Because other companies have tried and failed. Mostly because, they brought in people who had no care in the world for what there companies were. And decided, to hell with everyone else. Its all about me, and I'll do what I want to to do. To satisfy my own ego, and my own agenda's. You know what effect that had on those now defunct companies ? Sooner or later. Mostly after only a year's time. They died a slow, painful death. And funny thing is. Most of the people responsible even said a couple of those companies' death were... 'happy deaths'. You know what I say to that ? Bullshit !
Me, ? Unfortunately, I had the task of being a part of a couple of those places. Places that did have potential and could have gone somewhere. But due to the bullshit of the politics, the scheming, the buddy system, all of those things combined. 90% of the wrestling world as it once was is now wiped off the map.
So now, Chris. Here we stand. XWA, the only place left. Only 1 big show in town. And, what I see before me. Is another guy trying to become another "me" in this business.
Chris, fact is. I'll be damned if I see another one of those guys created. That is why I stepped in, and felt. That maybe it was about time I passed along some of my knowledge. Based on, my own experiences. My own mistakes and my own success stories.
If I didn't think you had that spark, that 'it' factor. Better yet, the potential to be special in this company. I would not be wasting my time out here with you.
To your credit though. I'll admit, yes. I made a mistake. I left before, I 'jumped ship' before. Why ? Because as young & stupid as I was back then. I wanted things to go my way, or highway. Far as that goes. You got me on that one. Fair & Square. I'm a man enough to admit that.
But out of my mistakes. Such as that one. I learn to better myself, and learn from those mistakes. As i said earlier. I became a better person. Not just for me, but for the company. Because even I knew that I was heading down a bad path. I knew I needed to get off that road and find my way back to salvation !
To answer your question, brother. Its real simple. I was one of the lucky ones. I got off the greedy, selfish road that I was heading towards and turned around. And got back on the right track. Everything I said to you was all completely from the heart, bro.
Fact is, I don't wanna see you making the same mistakes... that I almost made. I wanna help prevent other wrestlers from turning into ego-maniacs. There never will be an 'I' in team. XWA succeeded for these past four years because we all chipped in, and made it succeed as a team effort. The places that felt. They couldn't figure out that simple formula, and that is why they are currently living with the maggots down under.
So Dynamite, time for you to make a choice. I hate to put you on the spot. But I think I need to know. Hell bro, the WORLD needs to know. Are you with me, or are you against me ?
What will it be, son. Make the decision, not just for me. Do it for yourself. Do it, for the future of this company.
Gen. lowers the mic. Very well said speech by Genesis. Speaking from the heart as he tried to pull out all the stops to get Chris Dynamite to understand and hopefully realize that he was making a big mistake.

Dynamite stands silently for a moment staring at Genesis...
Oh My God...
Are you serious? Every word of that? Fight for the company...don't make your mistakes...respect this business...be a fighting champion.
I WAS a fighting champion, And do you know where that got me? Huh? I got my ass stomped by two of Frnakensteins monsters, and lost the Pure Title to a guy who doesnt give that belt half the damn due I did!
Where else did being a fighter get me huh? Oh yeah, fed to a new indy sensation, and then abandonded from the card,
He starts pacing the ring with growing frustration,
But I stuck around, I came back, i thought this year I'd make something new.
But no! Look where I am, being schooled by a member of the old-school. You gonna set me straight Gen? Like Romeo did? Like Lionel did?
Or are you just looking for an easy victory to start off this season with?!
BuZz: Get the kid a pram, he's about to throw his toys out!
So what was it that you and the world wanted to know huh?
Am I with you or against you? Ooo, let me think, with you or against you?
he steps right up to Genesis' face
I'm AGAINST YOU! You and everything you stand for...
What are you going to do about it?
BuZz: This idiot's diving into deep waters here, what the hell doe she think he's doing?

Genesis chuckles, then raises the mic to his lips. As he can't believe what he's hearing from this kid. Was HE being dead serious about all this crap, or was he pulling Genesis' chain ?
Tell ya what bro. I'm gonna make it short & sweet with ya here. Whether you want to believe this or not. I AM here to help you out. However... if you want to be a total prick about things. Then I guess I could move on to Plan B.
BuZZ: What's Plan B I wonder ?
Its real simple, Christopher. Since I can't talk any sense into you. I guess I'll have to do what us "old school" wrestlers do best. BEAT the sense into you.
So... little did you know, Mr. Dynamite. Since I had a feeling that you would allow your thick headed little brain to get in the way of trying to comprehend, let alone reason with me. I felt that it was completely necessary to go to our General Manager, Mike Roach. I asked him to make a little match here tonight.
The match I'm talking about you ask ? How does this sound to you. Chris Dynamite goes one-on-one with Genesis. Singles Match. No Outside Interference, No Complaining, No more bullshit between you and I.
Chris, I want to help you. But if I can't help you through words. Maybe I'll do it with my fists instead. Fact is, I don't care who wins or who losses tonight. All I want is for you to wake up from your fantasy world, and snap back into reality.
Either way it goes. I've only got one last thing to say to you. Its just one move, two words, and eight letters long.
GAME OVER !
Book Closed. End of Story. Deal With It !
And with that. Genesis drops the microphone, his music hits the PA system and he makes his way out of the ring back to his dressing room area.

Dynamite stands in the ring, looking aghast.
He throws his mic to the ground and laces the ring, seething,
Goldman: Well the kid's going to have to shut up and put up... BuZz: Finally i think he's talked himself into trouble he cant get out of!
Dynamite stares out at the jeering crowd for a moment, a mixture of anger and fear written all over his face,
he kicks the bottom rope in petulant frustration before leaning on the ropes and watching Genesis walk up the ramp...
