Curse Of The Black Pearl

As Overload returns from break, the undisputed Pearl Champion Helena Troy stands in the ring. The title was firmly affixed to her waist, and a mic in her hand.

Last week in this very ring, I yet again defeated my dear little sister Ashley Diamond, unifying the Onyx and Pearl Titles in the process. I take no joy in having beat Ashley...again. But it seems like despite the fact that we're connected by blood, we're destined to lock horns with each other. Not that I have a problem with it. A little sibling rivalry is good for the soul. *chuckles* But Ashley's not the reason I'm out here tonight. No, the reason I am is to address the woman I'll be facing at the 1st Overload PPV of 2010, Vendetta. And that woman is Bianca Dianaco.

Tony: Last week, Bianca won the Pearl No. 1 contender battle royal, guaranteeing her a shot. But that's where the simplicity of the situation ends.

Travis: Yea, seeing as they're both members of The Black Diamonds, the most powerful faction in the Diamond Division.

When I arrived in XWA back in 2008, little it be known to any of you, it was Bianca who helped me get acclimated to the goings on of XWA. While I was going to war with Heather Fierhart, Bianca was cluing me into all of her weaknesses and faults in this ring. So when the formation of The Black Diamonds came to pass, it was a no brainer really for me to join their ranks. A collective of the most fearsome female competitors in the sport. Not fashion models turned wrestlers. Not fitness models who wanted a career change. We all started our careers as wrestlers. Every member of The Black Diamonds has been honing their craft long before they got here to XWA. At one point in time, The Black Diamonds where in possession of the XWA Diamond Title, Onyx Title and Sapphire Titles. There is no way anyone can deny the fact that The Black Diamonds represent dominance in XWA. If you want to be technical, we're even more dominant then Upper Echelon.

Travis: She's got a point there, Tony.

However...The Black Diamonds have lost some steam. Between Ina & Bull losing the Sapphire Titles to Heather and Ashley, and Bianca losing the Diamond Title to Jamie Fury, it appears that where once I was the only Black Diamond not to have a championship, now I'm the only one with a championship. Funny what the passage of time can do, eh? But, by way of UNION last week, it would seem that one way or another, a Black Diamond will remain "The Black Pearl". Or so it would seem. Ladies, I joined the Black Diamonds because it represented something unique. Women who were more then just pieces of eye candy. The best of the best. So now it would seem that I am the best of the best. So with that in mind, I think it's only fitting that something else be on the line between you and I at Vendetta, Bianca. That being control of The Black Diamonds. I'm the only one amongst us who as been trending up. So it makes sense that the one on top, should be the one in control. Unless of course you disagree with that theory. Tell ya' what. How about you come on down here to the ring, Bianca...and we talk this out like ladies, eh?

Giving her most manipulative of grins, Helena awaits the arrival of Bianca Dianaco.

The familiar entrance theme of Bianca Dianaco cues over the PA, and the former Diamond Champion storms out from backstage.

Travis: Here she comes, and she does not look happy.

Tony: Why would she? Helena's basically challenge her status of being leader of The Black Diamonds. Needless to say the Pearl Title is clearly going to her head.

She makes a hurried advance to the ring and quickly calls for a mic of her own.

You sniveling little tart. This is how you repay my generosity? When you arrived here in XWA, so did a whole bunch of talentless birds. And why do you think so many of them are forgotten memories? Because they were worthless shills who didn't belong here in the 1st place. I could have very well let you become one of the statistics, but you stood out from the pack. Enough to the point that instead of letting that blond floozy Fierhart have her way with you, I coached you behind the scenes to at the very least give you a competitive edge. And when I formed The Black Diamonds, I could have easily went to a number of other women. But I chose you. In more ways then these people even know, I helped make you what you are in XWA. And this is the thanks I get. You, out here dangling the Pearl Title like carrot for the simple task of usurping me as Black Diamond leader? Apparently I've given you far more credit then you're worth, luv.

She ponders the situation for a moment, then continues.

The way I see things, this can end one of two ways. You can renig on your challenge, we can settle up the Pearl Title and Vendetta, and I'll be willing to forgive this transgression, or you can let your apparent lust for power cloud your judgment, and I and the rest of the Black Diamonds will essentially crush you like every other foolish little girl who's decided to venture into our paths. Champion you may be Helena, but when last I checked outside of Ina, Bull, Michelle and myself, you didn't exactly have a wide selection of allies.

Bianca waits for the impending response.

With a shrill grin, Helena replies to Bianca's last comment.

Oh, I'm well aware of the fact that aside from the other Black Diamonds, I had no allies here in XWA. That's the reason why...well...


I called up one of the allies I have from outside of XWA.

[megan]

From out of the crowd, an unknown female leaps over the guardrail and darts pass security. Charging the ring, she blindsides Bianca with a forearm shot to the side of the head. Continuing the assault, she proceeds to stomp on Bianca mercilessly before taking a few steps back to admire her handy work. She looks to Helena and grins an equally evil grin.

Tony: Who in the hell is this woman? She just jumped from out of the crowd and laid Bianca out!

Helena kneels down beside Bianca as she tries to gather her bearings.

Consider this, my official resignation from The Black Diamonds. But before I do, allow me to give you a little parting gift. Or better still, allow my friend Megan here to do the honors.

Rising back to her feet, Helena looks to Megan and nods.

[megan]

Megan picks the slumping Bianca up off the ground, and hoist her up into a Fireman's Carry. But before she could proceed in doing anything else...

Michelle Marx comes storm out from backstage like a freight train. As she charges the ring, Helena and her new associate beat a strategic withdrawal. As the two women retreat, Michelle picks up the dropped my of Bianca.

I hope your new friend brought some gear with her. Because tonight, we're gonna take your little insult and ambush outta' your asses!!! The two of us against the two of you!!!

It was a rare moment in XWA history, Bianca and Michelle getting cheers from the fans, who were in full support of the proposed challenge.

Helena & Megan now stand at the foot of the ramp. With her mic still in hand, Helena answers.

Oh that's fine by me, Michelle. It just means that we get to take care of the both of you in one fell swoop. Last week, a new day dawned in more ways then one in XWA. It was the dawn of the Troy era in the Diamond Division. Beating my sister to take this title was only the tip of the iceberg. I am the alpha female of XWA. And I'll prove that fact by any means necessary.

Travis: Helena Troy has just betrayed the Black Diamonds. None of us could have ever expected this to happen, especially Bianca. And who is this Megan girl anyway?

Tony: Oh, I think we'll find out in due time. This whole situation has taken a dramatic turn that I think won't be resolved until Bianca and Helena settle up for the Pearl Title.

The scene comes to a close as Helena and Megan back there way up the ramp, both with smiles on their faces with regards to what had just happened.
