Post match interview (invite w/spoilers)

[Kayn]

*As the #1 Contender Match drew closer to the end it seemed Kayn just about had it wrapped up, until he made one slight mistake. After missing the clothesline in the corner, Syrus caught Kayn with a neckbreaker for the win. The ref barely hit the mat for the three count before Kayn kicked out, but it was too late. While Syrus celebrated, Kayn sat up and looked for a moment before shaking his head and rolling out of the ring. While walking up the ramp, Kayn gave a few hand slaps to the fans by the ramp barrier before making his way to the stage and to the backstage area. As Kayn headed back to the locker room, he was followed by Fabiola and an interview team.*

"Kayn! Kayn! Can we have a moment please?"

*Kayn stopped for a moment and smiled as Fabiola caught up with him.*

"Sure Fabiola, what's up?"

"You made it through 4 other guys, but came up short in the end. How's that make you feel?"

"Honestly not good, but if nothing else Syrus earned that title shot. He outlasted 5 of the XWA other best stars, so I wish him nothing but the best of luck in his title match."

"Earlier tonight you were booked in a match against Scott Epic next week."

"Who?"

"Scott Epic."

"The internet guy?"

"Uhhhh, yea that guy. He's made it rather clear that he plans on being the next Combatant Xtraordinaire at your expense."

*Kayn smirked a little as he chuckled to himself before responding.*

"Fabs, you know as well as I do that from the moment I became the first Combatant Xtraordinaire I've had to deal with loud mouths trying to make a name for themselves at my expense, so this is no surprise to me. Just like two years ago everyone was gunning for me, so I'm sure no matter what Epic brings, it's not going to be anything I haven't seen before."

*Just as Fabiola was about to ask her next question, the interview was interrupted...*

...by a flying fistful of pwn!

Scott Epic flies in from nowhere, with a shot to the cheek of Kayn. Before Kayn can gather himself, Epic follows up with rights and lefts, unleashing a flurry following his meeting with Marshall Dane in the middle of the ring. A head butt from Epic staggers Kayn a bit, clearing some space between the two XWA superstars.

"Difference 'tween them 'n me is..." Scott said, as he stomped toward Kayn, closing the distance, "is I got a hell of a lot more resul~*!"

Scott was cut off as a right from Kayn sent him back into a maintenance rack. Gave him way too much time. On pure instincts, Scott pushes himself out of the rubble with a little equalizer in hand, and before Kayn, Fab, or the drooling camera guy can react, a solid, metallic thud fills the hallways. Wide-eyed, Kayn drops to his back, consciousness slipping from his grasps. Scott looks down in his hand with a chuckle, before tossing the lead pipe aside.

"Told you so..."

Scott kicks Kayn in the chest. And again. And again. And before long, he was stopped by security, but not before his statement was made.

Scott Epic was definitely off of Kayn's Christmas card list...
