As UNION continued on, Fabiola was backstage again with yet another special guest...
Fab: And now ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great honor to welcome in the reigning...defending...XWA Diamond Champion...Jamie Fury!
And so the camera pans out to show Jamie standing right by the longstanding backstage reporter, wearing a sexy silver colored one-piece tube dress that beautifully showed off her toned, muscular top half, of which she held the title belt to her shoulder and smiled like a schoolgirl.
Fab: Jamie, like a lot of XWA stars tonight, you're on the sidelines right now, but I can certainly bet that you're already itching to get back in the ring for 2010.
You said it. 2009 was a big year for me, all of my hard work paid off in the end, and thanks to my friends and all of the fans out there who supported me, I stand here still as the Diamond Champion.
Fab: Well...in your last match, you faced off against one of your friends in Marisol Cardinale for that very title. How was that like?
It was a very emotional moment actually. Very mixed, because I know how much Mari yearns to be a champion one day. We all know about her history, but anyone who calls it a curse is just plain dumb. She's a tremendous competitor who's still evolving as a wrestler. One day, sooner than later I'll add, she might very well hold this belt. XGAMES3 was my night, but who knows what'll happen the next time? That's the trick, you can't count anyone out in here. All it takes it one good opportunity and you can do great things here.
Fab: That's what this whole night is about...opportunity. One the one hand, foure people have the chance to be unfied, undisputed title holders, and even more have the chance to be the #1 contender for those titles. Let's start with yours of course. It'll be Channelle, Jenna Slade, Okami & Manami Kuroguchi to declare who will face you for the Diamond Title at Madness 2010. What do you make of the opposition?
Well, I've certainly seen enough of them all in 2009 to know what I'm up against. In Jenna there's a lot of potential. She' still learning the game, but that doesn't make her "green". She did beat Amber for her first title after all, so she's definitely not a slouch. Okami? She's definitely the wild card I'd say. I have feeling she's going to be doing some amazing things when that bell rings, there's just something about her. Then we have Channelle & Manami who're birds of a feather. They might go about it differently, but both of them are the type who will do anything to win, no matter how unfair or vicious it might be. In either four cases, I know I'll be in for a challenge...but they should all know by now that I'm more than up for it.
Fab: Well, I just have one last thing to ask, and that's your opinion on the new unified Pearl Title that'll be awarded tonight?
Hmm...what that means to me is that we have a great deal of fine female athletes here in the XWA, and just having one belt to between them would be a disservice. Now that both brands have their own Diamond Divisions, I think we're going to see some things have haven't seen before. One thing is for sure though, between the two women who are going to be competing tonight, they'll start out with a dominant champion either way.
Fab: I think I've used enough of your time up then Jamie...enjoy the show and good luck to you in 2010!
Thanks Fab!
Fab: Okay, back to ringside!
