That's right. The song's the same. The name is the same. The man is the same. It's been four months since the XWA audience had to witness this man, and aside from his most recent blog, it's been just as long for his epicequalswin.com peeps as well. He steps through the stage, dressed to compete. Unfortunately for him... it seems that the Xtraordinairily incompetant management had other ideas.

"Cut the music.

Now, I, Scott EPIC, have a little problem with all of this Union crap. See, a few months ago, I had me a little shot at the Grandslam title belt, that I had to fight on an emptied tank. The reason why that tank was a bit dwindled is because I was too busy kicking the crap out of YET ANOTHER Xtraordinaire, in the newly crowned M-motherluvin' G."

He pauses for the cheers of respect for the newest member of the elite of XWA.

"Alright, you can knock that crap off right now. MG does NOT have a clip big enough to threaten all of you spoonfed idiots to cheer for him.

Now, cue the boos.

"Whatever. I don't need a company to label me as "great," and I don't need you to do it either. I've got the credentials piling up, the devil will get his due soon enough.

Just like he should get his due tonight. Genesis, I beat the crap out of so badly that he ran and hid with his tail behind his leg in a puddle of his own piss behind the couch. Then I rubbed MG's nose in it, and made him spend the rest of XGames in the back with a doobie crutch, and a seemingly bleak future. Yet, the idiots run the asylum, and decide to throw both of those losers a pity party and give them a shot at the contendership for their respective brands new Big belts.

Now, the question is... what else do I have to do to prove to management that we shouldn't be baby powdering the asses of the weak and giving them everything... and they should start opening the doors for those that earn them? Do I have to beat the shit out of Kayn? Because, given my record around these "elite" clowns, I think that by the end of the day I'll not only have 2 Xtraordinaire notches in my bed post, but a third. And absolutely NO REASON that I should ever be excluded from the shots, and title matches that I DESERVE

Just then, a mysterious figure not seen in XWA for some years now pops up on the Jumbotron.

Mr. Epic. I hear your plight, and I sympathize with you. It's a theme I've watched happen for far to long here in XWA. Potential A list talent slipping through the cracks in favor of talent that without the corporate push they receive would fall flat on their faces. Happens everywhere, but one to many times here in XWA for me to let it continue to happen unchecked. Allow me to introduce myself to you, and re-introduce myself to everyone else. My name is Marshall Dane. And my official title is XWA Administrative Director. The one man that Blackheart and Gallas isn't above. In fact, contrary to what they'd have you believe, I'm the most important figure in XWA management. Why? Because I'm Chairman of the Board Of Directors. Nothing happens in XWA without our consent. And my vote represents 30% of the board's tally. This very event wouldn't be happening if it weren't for my consenting vote.

Goldman: This is an unexpected turn of events.

Buzz: I'll say. Last time Dane's been seen on TV was 2007 when he was managing Steven Higby and Vikram. He took the job as Director in 2008 and has been behind the scenes ever since.

I know what you're asking yourself. Why am I showing up now? I'll tell you why. 2009. The worst fiscal season of XWA to date. But unlike many of the other big companies in the US, we can't blame our less then stellar numbers on the recession. We can blame it on the shoddy job of management done by the President, Vice President AND Takedown's GM Mike Roach. Fiscally, Overload exceeded all possible expectations. Takedown barely made the grade. I, and the rest of the board weren't thrilled by this. Which is the reason why I have decided to get a little more hands on for 2010. Seeing as the rest of management seem to be busy doing other things aside from managing the talent of XWA. If there's one thing I know when I lay eyes on it, it's talent. I am in fact the man who discovered the likes of Steven Higby, Ethan Bain, The Burn Brothers and countless other talents across the world. Before I came to XWA, I was a promoter. And I made it my business to find and showcase the best talent possible.

You Scott, have the talent...no doubt about it. What you've been missing is the exposure. Exposure that's been given to other talents far less capable...and entertaining for that matter, then you. But that ends now. You want Kayn one on one next week? Done.

The crowds reaction was mixed, as was the reaction of the announcers.

Goldman: Wait a minute. Can he do that?

Buzz: He's Administrative Director. About as high up the food chain as they come. You're damn right he can do that.

But make no bones about it Scott. I'm giving you what you want. A chance to take on the 1st male Xtraordinare. But you have to give me what I want. Ratings. And I mean more then the stunts you've pulled in the past. If I'm going to take a chance on putting you in the spotlight, you'd better damn well make the most of it. Because if you don't, I'll simply find someone else who will. I can make your career, or I can break it. It's all dependent what you make of the opportunity.

Of course, this is the first time I can remember that they've tried to do the right thing, other than get even, seeing as I DID kinda rip them all the new ass that they deserved and all...

So, one on one with Kayn next week. It ain't a chance at gettin' the big belt, but it all fits right into the agenda, there, Marshall. See, I'm basically the revolving door of the XWA. If the corporate pushed are just sitting there in limbo, I'm there to knock them out. And, seeing as Kayn's one of those that just float around without anything major to his name aside from a Pure title run... I'll make sure to clear up that little problem for you, too. Earn the paycheck, or GEE-TEE-EFF-OH!
