Doesn't surprise me especially seeing as they're going to have a PPV in 2010 called Money In The Bank, which the main event will obviously be a MITB match itself. So it makes sense to have Swagger cash in before that particular event. I also like the idea of having him jump to Smackdown. Smackdown is in need of another major heel outside of Jericho and McIntyre, Swagger definitely fits the bill.

Woah, I really thought he was going to be the first to lose that opportunity. Im glad he's got the title tho, be interesting to see if they give him a proper run.

I hope they follow up the look, and have him round out as the next Kurt Angle.
I was already calling him, the "Worlds greatest all american, american" since he donned the blue with red trim singlet lol.

With tights that look like they were made of a fourth of july table cloth? I lol'd every time Angle wore that singlet that had nothing but individual american flags pasted together like a bad Photoshop tile.
