GOD OF WAR III = OWNAGE!!! The 1st 15 minutes of the game sets the tone. When you start off in a boss battle, you know the game is gonna be WINx100.  |

I'm about an hour into the game now and it's already blown the previous two out of the water. Without spoiling much, just wait until you get to Poseidon. That alone is worth the price of admission.

My friend picked it up at launch, and we stayed up all night and all day. I'm going on about 2 hours of sleep right now. And I'm going back over there later tonight.  |

Got it and been playing it non stop for about 3 hours. Good lord it's freaking awesome! And I doubt that I'm even halfway.
But man, that Poseidon thing was just something else.

watched my roommate play it since about 7:30pm PST (he's been playing since 3pm PST). I haven't touched the controller EXCEPT to help with the "Riddle of the muses" portion and HOLY F*CK!!!! I wanna play this game from start to end.

I've gotta love that I'm soo frickin dirt poor right now that the two I games (God of War 3 and FFXIII) and one expansion (Dragon Age: Awakening) that I really want are out and I can't afford them. I hate being broke.  |

Be happy you have a PS3 to play it on. It'll be damn near another month before I can even get to play it. My PS3 picked a fine time to decide it wanted to crap out on me, when ALL of the PS3 heavy hitter titles are being released. With any luck, I'll have a new PS3 by the start of May. Of course by then most everyone will have already beat the game, but oh well.
