Bio:
Charles "Kaster" Troy broke into the business back in 1997, but not along side his brother Paul (aka Pollox Troy). Paul traveled to Atlanta following the completion of their training at The Hole, one of the most recognized wrestling camps in the mid-west. There he wrestled for the Southern Wrestling Alliance, eventually capturing it's Light Heavyweight title at the age of 19. But his success there would be short lived, as after an accident going for a high risk move off of a 20 foot ladder, Charles was sidelined for almost two full years, of which during that time he was released from SWA.
After finally recovering to the point where he felt confident to make a return, Paul began working out again. Now 21, he decided to leave behind being a high flyer, and bulk up to heavyweight. During this time, Kaster would now follow his brother into the Mid West Championship Wrestling Federation, where they teamed up in their 1st incarnation as a tag team "The Sons Of Troy." Almost immediately the brother found success, as their chemistry in and out of the ring gained them contention, and eventually the 1st of an MWCWF record 4 Tag Team title reigns. But tag team success wasn't the least of either man's ambition. They would also establish themselves as singles superstars.
in 2001, Kaster would win the MWCWF World Title, but be booked to lose it 2 weeks later. In late 2002, the MWCWF opened their hardcore division and Kaster swept the twelve man hardcore tournament to become the first MWCWF Hardcore champion. He held the belt for 287 days. He won the belt two more times in two years holding it for over 75 days each time. In 2004, Kaster asked the MWCWF to create a new hardcore division called the “Hell” division. This would be a hardcore division for hardcore wrestlers. In the very first match ten men entered the 15 foot high capped steel cage for a KO/I Quit battle royal. Kaster defeated seven of the nine other wrestlers before facing off against Sergio Flair. He knocked Sergio out with a fantastic toss of the top of the cage into the announcers table.
Kaster became the first ever Hell’s Champion. He would hold this title for 345 days before losing it to his brother Pollox in a still controversial match. Kaster took a dive in order to lose the belt so he would qualify for the MWCWF World Heavyweight belt but the GM told him he could not contend for the belt do to his “poor performance in the ring”. Kaster regained the Hell belt which he held until leaving the MWCWF for the VCW.
In June of 2007 Charlie joined the VCW. He was slated to continue the Kaster character and push the Revolution X stable. In August of 2007 he and Pollox, now known as the Regulators, became the VCW Tag Team Champions. Kaster won the VCW World Championship in September of that year. This was not to last though. In December of 2007 Kaster lost the World title to Cody black in a triple threat ladder match at the “End of Days” PPV. During that match he suffered a injury to his right knee and lower back. He was scheduled to compete the following night against Johnny Phoenix for the Hell belt. During this match the injury to his knee was exacerbated and Kaster lost the belt. Charlie then took time off of the VCW to recover from his injuries.
During this time, Charles was contatced by long time rival Cody Black as well as his sister in regards to a promising company called XWA. Charles did his homework on the company, and eventually contacted GM Rodolphe Gallas. After a few weeks of negociations, Charles signed on with XWA. Now being cleared to compete once again, "Kaster" has his sights set on doing in XWA what he's done everywhere else he's worked. Become the best. In 2007, Charles found his 1st rival in XWA quickly, in the form of Ryan Fierhart. Well documented in the annuls of wrestling history is the blood feud that has raged on between the Fierhart and Troy wrestling families, dating back to their grandfathers in the 60's, and their fathers in the mid 70's to 80's. The two men would go to war on several occasions, with the issue still not being settled as their last match, an Ironman match, ended in a draw.
Not long after that, Kaster found himself at odds with one of Fierhart's closest allies, Van Hayden. Eventually Pollox would join him in XWA months later, and a 4 man feud would ensue as result, eventually pulling then XWA rookie Finesse into the fray as well. Kaster would feud against Hayden and Finesse for the better part of 2008 and 2009 respectively while earning spots into several of XWA's major matches for the XWA World Title, coming up short on each chance, including being on the receiving end of Dan Ripley's theft of the War Games 2009 main event. In 2009, Kaster and Pollox would again decide to split up the act, Kaster being recruited to be part of the Upper Ecehlon faction, while Pollox went on a personal campaign to teach the younger superstars of Overload a lesson in respect.
A wealth of possibility wait for Kaster in 2010. With the strongest collective of superstars wrestling has ever seen in his corner, and an equally as strong will to succeed at any and all costs, nothing will stand in the way of Kaster's designs on being what he's been for every company he's worked for, champion.
