I was wondering why he b-lined it to the ring so fast. You know for a fact that pyro operator last night will be filing for unemployment ASAP.

I mean how many hundreds of times has the Taker came out like that and this is the first time the flames went off in the wrong spot? Something is fishy to me on that.

Vince is a grade A asshole but risking the life of one of his best and most consistent performers to get him to retire? Not even he is THAT douchey.

well I'm a fan of conspiracies so that's how my mind works. I could be way off and if could have been a new pyro guy.

I get the line of reasoning though, I mean he has done that thousands of time now and it only messes up this once? It was just a few milliseconds away from being on the level of the Owen Hart tragedy. On the bright side he only received 1st & 2nd degree burns on the chest and arms.

source: PWInsider.com
Undertaker suffered burns to his chest as a result of a pyrotechnic malfunction during his entrance when flames reached and burned his jacket as he made his way ringside for his match at tonight's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Upon catching on fire, he immediately ripped off his coat and sprinted towards the ring. He then doused himself with bottles of water before and during his scheduled match in the Elimination Chamber.
Company sources indicate Taker was extremely upset about the situation upon returning to the locker room, though officials worked to calm him down ----------------
