Bio:
The story of how XXL broke into the wrestling business is well documented. The former All-Pro Defensive Lineman who trained to become a wrestler after recovering from a career-ending knee injury has become one of the most notable faces in the XWA. A decorated former champion and the first of many to stronghold a singles title for a long period of time, XXL's XWA career has seen some high points and scary moments.
A vicious backstage nearly ended his wrestling career, but again he was able to bounce back from adversity and return to prominence. Besting the like of Robby Sylk and partaking in what many consider to be the greatest match in XWA history, defending the World Title against Genesis, a man who ironically a year later he would team up with in order to fight off a force of "Invaders" from a rival wrestling promotion XCW.
By the end of the 2009 season though, a new rivalry would form for XXL, in the form of the Nordic behemoth named Buliwyf. At this point, XXL is the only man in the XWA to have beaten him, though head to head now they are dead even against each other. With the new season closing in fast, it's almost guaranteed that there will be another "Clash of the Titans". That will be only one moment though in a long season ahead. What else awaits remains to be seen, no matter what happens though, whoever steps in the ring with the "Black Hercules" will "remember the name".
