Unofficial message from XWA legal: The following blog has views that are of Sushi-X and Sushi-X only, and do not necessarily reflect the views of XWA management or its employees.
(Look, don't blame me. The lawyers make me do it. Nothing against lawyers, or whatever.)
Dateline: The morning after XGames3. Miami, Florida. 8:40am.
To my fans, my apologies for not writing more often. For now, I have new responsibilities and committments as the XWA No Limits Champion. Besides the numerous appearances (yeah, they've gone wayyyyyyyyy up in recent months) and interviews with various media outlets, I must stay sharp with the growing competition looking to take away the championship I had worked so hard for. Someone once said you have to ask yourself four questions when your life comes to a crossroads: Why? Why not? Why not now? Why not you?
Three months ago, I have written that someone had to end the streak of title defenses of Bryan Yang. And I asked why not me? Well, that was before that epic match in Italy. My breakthrough match, even though it was a loss. What it did get me, though, was one more shot at Bryan Yang, regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound wrestler in the world. And I took full advantage of that shot. I won at Devils' Night, becoming the first man to beat Yang in a title match in some fifteen months. While many, including Yang, thought it was a fluke, I did what few thought I could at XGames3 in Miami: beat Bryan again. Does that make me the best pound-for-pound wrestler in the world? I'll let others decide on that. What that does make me is a true and deserving champion. And with the offseason looming, I'll be carrying this belt proud for the entire winter. When spring rolls around, I'll be ready once again. More trained. More focused. More fearless.
No Limits division: Get ready... to feel... THE POWER OF X!
