Bio:
For over 11 years, Dru Nedermeyer has been one of, if not the most dominant force in wrestling. A living legend ever sense of the world, Nedermeyer's influence in the wrestling world is unquestioned by even his most heated enemies. He's responsible for some of the most memorable moments in a number of major organizations. It was Nedermeyer who single handedly revolutionized what a "super heavyweight" was in wrestling, hence his present nickname "The Archetype". Almost every Super Heavyweight that's emerged in wrestling has in one way or another emulated Nedermeyer's style, which is never a bad thing.
Nedermeyer was reluctant to enter XWA when 1st approached. He has just had a bad parting of ways with APW following it's release of several superstars, and had actually retired for a long stint during 2007. But is was the chance opportunity of being called out by Ethan Bain early in his XWA career that lit the fire back under Dru, and he made a grand return to the ring. Since then, Dru has competed in limited action in XWA, appearing on occasion to take on anyone willing to challenge him personally. But 2010 marks the 1st year since 2006 that Dru will compete in the United States full time. Putting his international wrestling duties on hiatus, Dru returns for the 2010 season of XWA poised to re-establish his foothold as being "the best big man in the business".
