No woman in pro wrestling is more recognizable than Amber Gianni. From the moment she first stepped on the scene, Amber has made a lasting impression in the fans minds...and other sensitive areas. Her carefree attitude and sensual nature almost shadows to many people the fact that she is actually a champion caliber competitor between the bells.
Amber is the first charge of the legendary female wrestler Sarah Warfield, who took her in as a pupil despite Amber having little knowledge of the sport being a nude model. She soon caught on to "the ropes" and from there her career skyrocketed.
As both a manager and a wrestler, Gianni has scene much success and popularity, but no moment has been greater in her career than winning her first title in 2009, XWA's Pearl Championship.
2009 also saw the creation of a new alliance between her and two other popular Diamonds-Jamie Fury & Marisol Cardinale, as The Sensationals. Initially they feuded with the team known as The Centers of Attention, but as the season winded down ironically it was Amber who helped the betrayed member of the team Jenna "Baby" Slade, the very woman who defeated her for the Pearl Title, when former partner Channelle Valencia and her new ally Tiffany Masterson tried to take her out. Amber herself opted to help Jenna, which may well result in another close friendship.
Such events only show the unpredictability of a season in the XWA. It would appear that going into the new season, more clashes with Channelle & Tiffany are imminent, but what else is in store? Only time will tell.
