Bio:
Strength. Beauty. Determination. These are the words that all describe the woman called Jamie Fury and her place in the realm of female professional wrestling today. In a short time, the statuesque native of Delaware has become a mainstay of the XWA's Diamond Division.
After some years as a female bodybuilder and fitness model, Jamie began to train to become a professional wrestler, eager to take her work ethic in the gym and put it to a more unique use. Showing off much potential in the ring and a body that looked chiseled from the hands of a master sculptor, Fury was signed to an XWA contract quickly after being scouted by female wrestling legend Sarah Warfield.
Jamie quickly garnered success, first by winning the vacated Pearl Championship in the first month of her rookie season. She would see impressive win after win soonafter, earning the nickname of "Diamond Dominator" before losing the title to Sonya Robbins. Bouncing back from this loss, Jamie would soon be put into the running for the coveted Diamond Championship, defeating Channelle for the belt at Only The Strong 2008. Her success would be short-lived the next month however when she lost the belt inside of the Diamond Devil's Playground at Devil's Night '08.
That loss would become the driving force of her 2009 campaign. Despite having the greatest rookie year in XWA history, earning the right to be an Xtraordinaire in the process, her loss of the Diamond Title was what her focus was on going into the 2009 season, determined to do the one thing that's even tougher than winning the elusive championship...keeping it.
At OTS '09, Jamie got her second shot at the title in a Triple Threat match against champion Bianca Dianaco and Sonya Robbins, who impressed enough to earn a place in what would have been a one-on-one match. Fury wouldn't be denied however, winning the title a second time approximately one year removed from her first victory. Next loomed the ominous pressure of defending the title in the dreaded Playground. Against all odds and a game group of opponents, Jamie prevailed in what was easily the greatest victory of her career and proudly walked into the Diamond Conflict match of XGAMES3 with the title in tow...which she would defend successfully once again. These two wins solidified her place in the "pantheon" of female wrestlers to hold the Diamond Title.
The next great challenge awaits though. The 2010 XWA season will be the most hotly contested in the company's history, and even with her impressive record of victories, Jamie knows that it will take the same drive and determination as she's always had in order to stay on top.
