Bio:
Jon Payne's 2009 campaign in the XWA was a limited one. This is due mostly to a rigorous and continuous regimen of training to prepare for his debut in Mixed Martial Arts after signing to fight for the UFC. During the season however, he did manage to have some battles against the reputed German grappler Magnus Von Schwartz.
Over the 2009-2010 offseason, Payne has spent time at The Skool of Hardcore training longtime friend Hayley Jonas, who's hinted at possibly competing in women's MMA herself at some point. With his own training complete now and a second UFC fight to be had in early 2010, Payne's committed to make more appearances for the XWA in it's fourth season, especially with rumors abound of surprises in store for TakeDown brand. Come whatever may, Payne's arsenal of offense is more potent than ever before, a point that he will be more than willing to prove to anyone who steps in his path.
Take Notice...another year of "Elevating The Game" is upon us. And the rabbit hole goes deeper and deeper...
