Bio: Paige grew up in the world of professional wrestling. She is the daughter of the legendary grappler Larry "the Blade" Monroe. As a child she was often seen backstage at events soaking up the world of professional wrestling. When her baby sister Debra was born, her mother decided that the road was no place for a family to be raised and took the girls back to Washington D.C.
In the twilight years of the 1980's the Monroe family began to experience their darkest times. Paige's father gained an addiction to crack cocaine. Paige's mother begged him to stop the drugs as she could see it was ruining his career and driving a huge wedge between him and his family. Larry promised many a time to clean up his act and once again focus on being a loving husband and a deciated father. Sad to say that Larry could not escape his demons and was found dead in a hotel room in 1993.
By this time Paige was in her early teens and had watched drugs destroy not only her family but the legacy of her father's name in the business. She decided from that point on that she would never follow her father down that dark path. For she has begun hating him for ruining his career and turning his back on his kids and wife. She was indeed very full of contempt as most young girlds are. It was around this time that Paige began to listen to local bands in Washington the most notable was Minor Threat.
Their lyrics connected with her in ways she had never dreamt of. They spoke of the lifestyle she had always wanted to lead. She became very active in the Washington D.C. hardcore scene. But something always still called to her...it was the the sport of wrestling.
Upon graduating from high school, Paige got into contact with an old family friend Rumi Kagosawa, who had just started her own promotion in Japan called Pro Wrestling Gemini. Kagosawa agreed to allow Paige to train at the Gemini Dojo. Paige trained for a 2 years in the dojo, learning a very strict work ethic from one of the Joshi greats. During her time at the Dojo, Kagosawa began helping Paige deal with the ills of her past and her hatred for her deceased father. After months of talking with Kagosawa about her father, she finally put to rest her issues with him, and decided it would be best for her to attempt to bring back some diginity to the Monroe name.
In 2007, Paige debuted with Pro Wrestling Gemini and began working regular cards with the promotion. She also started using her father's famed Monroe clutch (camel clutch) in her matches as a way to pay tribute to him. She also adopted a finsher made famous by another Joshi legend Akira Hokuto, the Northern Lights Driver, in which she dubbed " the Pledge". As a way for her never to forget the promise to herself to lead a poision free lifestyle.
In the summer of 2008 she was sent to America to work with Omega Pro Wrestling. Where she found great success winning the promotion's women's championship. While still on her tour of America Paige heard of a company that boast of the best women's divisions in the world. And that company is the XWA. In 2010 Paige wants to continue mastering her craft against the best talent in the world here in the Diamond's Division.
