Bio:
A 2nd generation superstar, Tommy Tryton was raised in the wrestling business. He had more knowledge about wrestling as a child then most adults did. It's no wonder that he decided as a child that he'd follow his father's footsteps. His own journey into wrestling has been filled with ups and downs. Many times bad personal and professional decisions have plagued his budding career, and perhaps even stopped him from ascending to main event status. But that all changed the summer of 2008.
Upon the imminent purchase of Prime Time Wrestling by XWA, Tommy found himself, like many of the other survivng PTW talent following the buy out, under XWA contract and with a fresh start. A start that lead him to be "scouted" by one of the most influential and controversial men in the sport, Scott O'Dell. Tommy would use Scott's knowledge to help better his status in XWA, as well as learn from him, one of the biggest talents on the planet...what it took to be a megastar. During that span, he'd also develop a heated rivalry with one of O'Dell's long time foes, Adam Devlin. A rivalry that spanned several months, and eventually lead to an out of the ring friendship between the two. In late 2008, seeing that his career needed new direction, Tommy broke away from O'Dell's influence, but still sights Scott as being one of the men who helped him reach where he is now.
2009 would see Tommy return in the best shape of his career. After a slow start, Tommy caught fire mid season, earning him a spot in the revolutionary "Crucibal" match, the match of which he won his 1st ever World Title in. After that fateful night, Tommy put together an impressive title run, which included a one on one battle with Jeremy Pendleton that's regarded as one of the greatest matches in the company's history.
Tryton comes into the 2010 season World Champion, and while he knows he may not finish the season the same way, he is poised without a doubt to improve on 2009's success, and show the world why he is in fact one of the best American born wrestlers on the planet.
