Bio:
Steven Higby was discovered not like most men of his kind. Most wrestlers are either scouted from smaller companies, or from other professions such as personal security or other pro sports. Higby was discovered in the bloody underground fighting world of the United Kingdom. After serving a 6 year sentence for assault, it was the only means of making money he could find. With no formal training in wrestling, just uncanny size and almost super human strength, Steven Higby was brought to XWA by then manager Marshal Dane, where he carved a trail of destruction that all who remain from the inaugural season of XWA still remember. In 2008, Higby parted ways with Dane, and opted to have limited time in XWA, instead returning to the UK to train in the fundamentals of wrestling. Eventually, he'd make his way back to the US, to further his training at Dru Nedermeyer's Monster's Den. It was there that Nedermeyer and his staff realized what a true diamond in the rough Higby was.
2009 saw Higby return back to competition in XWA, primarily taking on Dan Ripley and a man who at one time was an ally of his, Vikram...at the behest of his friend Cody Black (Whom is also a trainer at the Monster's Den). Feeling he's now ready to strike out to make a permanent impact in XWA, "The Colossus Of Blackpool" readies himself for the challenge ahead.
