Darksiders is a must get game it's awesome. Kinda like Prototype. To be honest, its nothing like Prototype . As IGN commented on. Which I can agree with them after playing the game. Darksiders mixes elements of Zelda (targeting system, menu setup, hell they even have a boomerang ripoff called the "Crossblade" lol) God of War (Blood/Gore) and Panzer Dragoon (there's a few flying stages that are a carbon copy of the Panzer Dragoon games). You have all of these elements rolled into one kick ass game. As WLJ said, yes it tis a must have game. For an action game, this will take you anywhere between 12-20 hrs. to complete (pending on whether you want to plow through the game or search for all the hidden items/secrets lol). And that's pretty damn impressive for an Action/Adventure titles. Since most of those games barely last 6-8 hrs. tops XD. Oh, and the storyline ? Yeah... I like that too .

I'm torn between getting Darksiders or Bayonetta, which is another kick ass action/adventure game that just came out last week. I think I'll have to make a game time decision when I go check them out next Tuesday.

I heard Bayonetta fails on PS3... 360 is the only real way to play it.

I think I'll have to make a game time decision when I go check them out next Tuesday. I think you'll enjoy Darksiders more lol. Bayonetta is a kick ass game and fun to play. As its a cooler & prettier DMC-ish game. But on the PS3. As Pyro said, the game is terrible on that console (which is surprising). Major slow down issues and screen tearing have been the main complaints about the PS3 version of Bayonetta. So yeah, if you only have a PS3. Go with Darksiders. Bayonetta, as great of a game as it is. Is one of those that should only be experienced on the 360. From what I can see of the 360 version. The only issue I have with it is with the camera angles jumping around all over the place at times. But just a very minor annoyance though.

I'll take everyone's word on it, and opt for Darksiders.

I found playing even the Bayonetta demo made me not want to play that game to be honest. I think that ever since Devil May Cry came out **the original btw** people have really been trying hard to replicate its style, flair, and success to no true avail. Bayonetta doesn't impress me at all.
That being said Darksiders looks great and someone purchased Assassin's Creed for PS3 for me but I already have it so I need to exchange it. That may just be the game I'll get instead, I mean I've already pre-ordered Mass Effect 2: Collectors Edition so I'm good on that front.
