We are well aware that come tomorrow, we'll be a full week into 2010 and we're still "in" the last event of 2009. So it's been decided that the 2010 season itself will be pushed back a month. It was planned to have it start in March, but instead we will officially start the season in the 1st week of April. We've decided to do this for a number of reasons.
1. A 2 month offseason is hardly even worth the effort of doing.
2. A number of members here got PS3's during the holidays, so they're pretty much either working or in some cases re-working their characters over for the 2010 season.
3. We will have ample time to level up all incoming caws and generally prepare for the upcoming season.
Once XGamesIII is completed, we the 2009 stuff will go into the archives, and the new 2010 boards will be posted, as well as the rule amendments for the new season, the new profile template (Which we truncated, so we expect EVERYONE to create a character profile for next season) and other various info.

Supplemental Roster
Back when SVR 2010 came out, I started a thread asking who specifically was coming back for the 2010 season. (Namely for Takedown, which has been shorthanded for months.) The numbers where tabulated to determine the full starting roster for both brands respectively. As such of the fact of how the PS3 save system works, we're only able to have 50 characters on each active roster. As of this post Overload presently has 50 and Takedown has 46. So as such, anyone who didn't commit to spot during that period will be added to the XWA Supplemental Roster.
What does the XWA Supplemental roster entail? Pretty simple. The main roster has pretty much been compile already, outside of those characters that must be created still from formulas we've yet to receive or haven't been uploaded to CC yet. In all the main roster is about 90% complete. As in we have the caws, and have leveled them all up to the stat limits we have decided to use. Being added to the supplemental roster basically means your caw will NOT be leveled up. The supplemental roster for all of the simmers will be on a separate PSN profile from where the main profile is stored. Here, anyone on each brand's supplemental roster will be stored. You'll have all of the perks of being a regular member of the roster, sans having your caw leveled up. If we had to level up everyone who decided they wanted to be late committing to being part to the 2010 season, we'd be starting the season in May as opposed to the planned March beginning. Something we're not willing to even entertain since we're already running late.
So how will it work you ask? Simple. You matches will be simmed like all other matches, you just won't have the bonus unlocked abilities. But fear not, whoever you're facing will be default as well. Say for example someone from the supplemental starts a feud with someone on the main roster. Since the supplemental profile will have substantially more room on it, the character from the main roster will be downloaded to the supplemental profile, and given base abilities according to the character's style. Now we don't expect the supplemental rosters for either brand to be that larger, especially for Takedown since there are 4 slots still open for someone to slip into. But those 4 slots are reserved for NEW CHARACTERS controlled by NEW HANDLERS or returning characters. NO CURRENT HANDLERS ON TAKEDOWN ARE ALLOWED TO ADD NEW CHARACTERS TO THE MAIN ROSTER. Period. Whoever you decide to add if you do add a new character will immediately be put on the supplemental roster. All Overload new comers will also be put automatically into the supplemental profile.
At the conclusion of XGames III, when all 2010 info is posted, so to will be the full list of who is on the main roster for both brands. If your name isn't on either list, then you know where your character will be when you submit them.

I have a question. When you say simmers... have you found a way to share saves then, so that everybody doesn't have to level up the CAWs? Or do we have some other poor souls that are stuck just letting the stuff sim for a few hours a day? (hardly touches his game anymore.... so that's why I ask...)

There's unfortunately no way to trade saves between consoles. (Believe me, we tried.) There are 4 simmers we'll be using for the season, 2 for Takedown and 2 for Overload, with 3X being a "back up" simmer for now until he FINALLY gets his own damn PS3 with his incoming tax return. Everyone on the sim team has or are still in the process of leveling up everyone on their main roster. By season start, the only info we'll need for characters is what specific abilities they'll have. Will all the Diamonds be on a seperate profile? No. The males and Diamonds will all be on the same profile. On Takedown alone there are 16 confirmed Diamonds (including yours).

No. If the formula you submitted is definitive, the CAW will be created and you'll be added to the roster. Seeing as you've opted to drop one half of your planned Tag Team and focus on being a singles character, you'll be added to the Takedown Roster, as that's the roster that has space. But as posted in the Registration HUB, the formula you submitted if FINAL. If you have changes you want to make, you'd best make them BEFORE the caw is created (You'll know it's created when you see your spanking new Avatar). Once it's made, there will be NO EDITS allowed. So I'd make absolutely sure that what you submitted is accurate to what you want him to look like and fight like. Official creation for 2010 won't begin until next week, as there's still one further bit of 2009 business that needs to be handled before we zero in on 2010 prep. (Such as 2010 avatar creation and so forth.) So if you have changes you want to make, make them NOW, cuz after Monday they'll be null and void.

If it's one of your tag team characters, yes. If it's A. Cee, no. He was one of the 1st guys we got, and is fully leveled up.

It's for one on my Tag Team guys. Ashtian Aries to be exact. I've done some tweaks to his moveset, and created him a Finisher.

You can upload him whenever your feel he's 100% complete, because once you do and you notify us that he's available, that's it.
