1!!! 2!!! 3!!!
Tony: It's over!!! Jayson Jones!!! Jayson Jones picks up the win!!!
A familiar feeling to O'Dell. It wasn't the 1st time he fell pray to the infamous Brook-Nam Bomb. Stan O'Malley promised his opponent was going to be a man he'd faced before, but even O'Dell wasn't ready for it being the one and only Jayson Jones. Even with Primo at ringside, a man who was equally schooled in dealing with Jones, it wasn't enough. But the last thing he was about to do was take this defeat lying down. As Jones and Devlin celebrate in the ring, O'Dell rises to his feet. Bad intentions filled his eyes, and he charges forward at both men, who had unwisely turned their backs to him. He railroads both of them with clubbing shots to the back.
Willy: Oh you knew he was gonna do somethin' like that! What a sore damn loser!
He turns his attention to Jones, the man who had just defeated him, and begins stomping him about the chest and shoulders. Primo would soon enter the ring as well...

While O'Dell focused his frustration on Jones, Primo zeroed in on Devlin. With O'Dell's surprise attack, they had both men at their mercy. Primo stomps away on the back of Devlin with a sickeningly satisfied grin on his face.
Tony: Look at him, like a damn vulture. It's like they almost had this planned in the event O'Dell lost.
As they continued to lay the beatdown on Devlin and Jones, the crowd would begin to boo even more, as it seemed another Upper Echelon member would be coming to join in the festivities.

From backstage comes Bryan Jasta, who was no doubt in a foul mood having been pinned by the younger, less experienced Shane Camden in his Tornado Tag match earlier in the night. With him, was his apparent apprentice, Marc Cera.
Willy: Oh man, this just went from bad to worse, Tony-O. They're gonna try and make an example of Adam and Jay-J.
Tony: No kidding. Sore losers through and through.
Both men enter the ring, and join in on the assault of Jones and Devlin. Jasta alternates takes shots on Devlin, while Cera joins O'Dell in Jay-J's beatdown.
Tony: This is getting out of hand now! 4 on 2? Dammit, someone get out here and stop these clowns!
Seemingly right on cue, two other men had seen enough of this thug-like beatdown being handed out.

[shadow=red,left,300]From backstage storms out none other then Osh Vaughn and Shane Camden, both with chairs in hand. They figured since Upper Echelon have long since not played by the rules, why should they?[/shadow]
Tony: It's Vaughn and Camden!!! Here come the cavalry!!!
[shadow=red,left,300]They hit the ring with purpose, Vaughn takes aim at Jasta and Primo, clunking them both over the head with a pair of chair shots. Primo rolls out of the ring, clutching at his skull, But Osh felt compelled to continue the punishment on Jasta for the months of hell he'd put him through. As Jasta writhe in pain, Osh cracks him again, this time flat on his back. Jasta falls to his knees in pain, then retreats from the ring.[/shadow]

Shane follows suit, dealing out a chair shot to Marc Cera as well. His shot was far more forthcoming then Osh's, as it floored Cera in one fell swoop. He turned to do the same to O'Dell, but in the fracas, he had already opportunistically retreated from the ring.

O'Dell and the troops all beat a strategic withdrawal from the ring, him coming out of it relatively untouched, aside from the smarting twitch at the back of his neck from losing to Jones in the 1st place. As they back up the ramp words are shouted back and forth between the two factions that even couldn't bare repeating on Pay Per View. But just as the Upper Echelon contingent get halfway up the walkway, a certain person's theme begins to play. Scott almost immediately slumps his head once it does.
Willy: You know wut DAT means, eh Toni-o?
Tony: Damn skippy I do. HERE COMES MR. G!!!

For the 1st time in 2009, XWA Vice President Rodolphe Gallas makes an in person appearance live. For months, he'd sat behind the scenes, aiding his self appointed GM Stan O'Malley in righting the ship that O'Dell and his cohorts sought to eagerly to capsize. With mic in tow, Gallas stands at the stage while the crowd roars in cheer.
Tony: When Mr. G shows up, you KNOW something big is about to happen.
As his music begins to fade out, he raises his mic to speak.
For 9 months I have watched you gentlemen try time and again to raise mutiny here on Overload. Using your status, influence and gangland tactics to spread fear and intimidation across 'ze entire roster. You may see it as making a statement, but I see it as acting like animals. Your barbaric actions have not gone unnoticed, which 'ze reason why I stand before you tonight. Stan was unable to make 'ze trip here to Italy, but fortunately I was already here on business. Now, as I sat backstage and watched 'ze events of tonight take place, it got me to 'zinking. And your little ambush on Monsieur Devlin and Jones put my idea intp crystal clarity. Since you enjoy attacking your enemies like a pack of wolves, when we return back to 'ze US, Las Vegas...for Devil's Night...you all will get 'zat chance. Because at Devil's Night, it will be you Scott, you Primo and you Bryan...teaming up to go three on three against Adam Devlin, Osh Vaughn and Jayson Jones!!!
The crowd shows it's agreement with the ruling with cheer.
Willy: Now das'wassup! 6 Man Tag match. Let 'em sort out their differences like men instead of like meatballs.
Gallas notices the semi-agreeable expressions on O'Dell, Primo and Jasta's faces.
Ah-ah...not so fast. I'm not done yet. We've already seen 6 man tag matches happen before. 'Zis match will be any'zing but. As you all know, Devil's Night is home to 'ze Devil's Playground match, where 6 competitors put it all on 'ze line to be World Champion. Well, I 'zought to myself about a different concept behind 'ze match, especially for you. So 'zat is why right here, right now...I'm announcing 'zat 'zere will be a THIRD Devil's Playground match at Devil's Night. And 'zat match, will be 'ze one that 'ze 6 of you partake in. Two members from each side start in 'ze ring at once. And every few minutes, a random member will enter 'ze match, until all six of you are in. And the team 'zat pins, submits or KO's the other will be declare 'ze winner.
Willy: That's...That's...
Tony: That's another XWA first!!! A 6 Man Elimination Devil's Playground Match!!! But under the rules, that could create some interesting match ups to say the least.
Willy: Damn skippy! With entry bein' random, we could end up havin' one of these guys locked up with ALL THREE members of the other team before one of his team mates gets in. I can tell ya' that'd be tha' longest 5 minutes of that dudes life!
The less then thrilled look on UE's faces was what Gallas wanted to see. He concludes in saying...
Oh, but wait. 'Zer's still 2 of you unaccounted for. Mr. Cera...since you're now officially under contract here in XWA, I 'zink it's high time you had your singles debut. And it'll be at Devil's Night as well, against Shane Camden...in a TABLE MATCH! Gentlemen, enjoy 'ze flight back to 'ze US. Because for 'ze 1st time in 'ze city's illustrious history, what happens in Vegas...WON'T stay in Vegas.
Gallas' music cues up once again, and the scene comes to a close as he leaves the stage. The final frame of the scene shows Upper Echelon with looks of disdain and contempt on their faces, while the Braveheart contingent in the ring all stand with smiles of anticipation on theirs.
Tony: If you were to compare the battle between these two factions to WWII, Las Vegas is about to be become Stalingrad. One of the most pivotal battles in the war. As if Devil's Night wasn't going to be high stakes enough.
Willy: And where betta' to have it then my hometown!!! Lucielle, fire up tha' grill and stock up on the Jack Daniels, Big Willy's comin' home, baby!!!
With that, the 1st of Only The Strong's title matches would soon begin.
End
