I've heard that it has issues,so I'm just curious if anyone has one/ has made one run on Windows Vista? I'm running the 64 bit if it matters. I just wanna know if I have to drag my PS3 back to my room to use my desktop...

1st off it depends on what program you're using for your video capture. If you're using WMM, you can expect to run into all kinds of problems. 1st thing you can try is to run WMM in Windows XP mode. What you do is right-click on the desktop icon that opens it and go to properties. (Or the Vista equivalent) Next, go to the compatibility tab and you should see a drop down that allows you to change how the program runs. Select Windows XP, and WMM should run now as it would if you were running it on XP. If that doesn't help things, You might have to consider a new video capture program. In that instance, I recommend this: www.nchsoftware.com/capture/It's called Debut Video Capture, and it's as good as it gets for video capture on Vista. You want to download the free version, which is bare bones...it only allows you to capture video and screen shots, no video editing of any kind, but it encodes video in a non-compressed state, so that means no waiting for the program to process the video. Once you've captured your footage, just simply load up the video in WMM and edit it there. Hope that helps you some.

Small question, when I use Debut Capture, it won't recognize the Audio plugs in my Dazzle, any ideas on why?

If you use the Studio software that comes with the Dazzle, you shouldn't have problems, but take Oz's advice first.

Small question, when I use Debut Capture, it won't recognize the Audio plugs in my Dazzle, any ideas on why? Are you using Vista? Debut is for the most part a Vista initiated program. For XP, Debut acts kinda retarded, such as not detecting the audio. You could go to options and check and see if the audio is set (It should be set to Microphone within the Dazzle selection) but if you're still getting no sound, you should stick to WMM if you're running XP or lower. All of the newer programs are being developed for Vista and Windows 7, though they in theory work on XP, you'll come across problems you wouldn't come across on Vista, and vice versa for the older programs running on Vista, such as not being able to capture video on WMM running on Vista.

What Pinnacle doesn't tell you about using Dazzle on Vista...the fact that you have to buy more cables to get it to work properly.
Though this tut is talking 360, the same goes for the PS3.

So with all this I don't have to go back to RCA from HDMI?

Nope. That's exactly how mines is set up. All you need is the cables shown on the vid X posted and your G2G. Of course, I'd suggest not recording in HD, unless you want some gargantuan files. Best quality for PC is usually good, and is usually 324x240. Unless you're the type who needs all of their footage in 1080i.

Nah, I'm not... I'm just wondering how the hell the RCA's work when you run an HDMI to your tv. Is it meaning that you plug the RCA's into a video out on your TV or something? Because my set up is the video is HDMI, and the audio is digital audio out... I haven't used the red yellow white since I moved.

So, I've got the dazzle being recognized on my computer... it's just that the programs won't recognize it *gets angry*...
I'm assuming I may have to torrent Pinnacle Studio and hope for the best, huh?

Yea, you need to at least have Studio installed for it to work properly. I'd give you the one I have, but I've already "lent" it to 4 people, so the registration code is invalid now. But I'm sure you can find one with a working keygen on TPB or Filestube.
