After an XGames promotional vignette, Only The Strong goes backstage, where Joe Beakman stands by for another interview.
Ladies and germs, Jow Beakman here, and I am flanked by two men set to do battle here later tonight, Van Hayden and Finesse. Fellas, it's been an interesting few weeks on Overload to say the least.
Interesting? Hmmmph...that's an understatement. The war that Scott O'Dell and his boys has intensified, and he's armed up with a few more soldiers. Just like any decent General would when he knows it's a war of attrition. But him and his boys fail the realize is that it doesn't matter how big your guns are if you don't have the right ammunition. They've got guns. Big old artillery cannons that they've been pounding up with all season. Problem is my friends, your only using 10lb shells. Sure, you've knocked down a few buildings. Broken a few pieces of our armor. But we're still standing. And tonight, we return fire. But not with artillery shells, oh no. We hammer you bitches back with a tactical missile strike. Right down the pipe, so that you boys see it coming and know there ain't a damn thing you can do but cover up, and hope the blast radius doesn't scorch you badly.

Focus turns to Finesses as he adds to Van's statement.
Yasee, Joe. Right now is what we like to call the "home stretch". And a lot like in racing, it ain't how you start, but how you finish. It's all about jockeying for position. And that's what we're doin'. But so have our opponents for tonight, The Troys. Or is that The Regulators? Whatever you choose to call ya'selves, none of us are strangers. This isn't the 1st time the four us are gonna be gettin' in the ring. We know what you two bring to the dance, you know what we bring to the dance. If you look at it from the outside, you'd think there really was nothin' to gain from a match like this. But what does anyone on the outside know. There's pride and momentum riding on this match. And I know fa' damn sho' that me and Van here ain't come all the way here to Italy to pull in 2nd. Pollox? Kaster? Put on ya' helmets. fasten those chin straps and buckle up. Because if yall ain't ready to ride tonight, ya' damn sho' gonna get rolled on.

The way it all boils down Joe, is that we're ready for the fight. Always have been, always will be. The question is how ready are the Troy boys gonna be. We'll just have wait and see the answer to that one now, won't we?
Van and Finesse give each other a nod of reassurance, and both me leave the interview area.
Tony: They look focused and ready for the task at hand. But that task isn't an easy one. Kaster and Pollox may have been more focused on their singles careers since coming into XWA, but they're still undefeated as a unit here.
Willy: There's doubtin' that they're as well oiled a machine you can get. But I've got a good feelin' 'bout Van and Finesse tonight. It's gonna be real interestin' to here what The Regulators have to say later tonight.
