As OTS returns from a sponsor segment Motorhead’s ‘Ace of Spades’ echoes through the arena to announce the arrival of Chris Dynamite. Dressed in a waistcoat, shirt and jeans he already has a mic in hand…
BuZz: Aw jeez… here comes the self proclaimed ‘Ace’, who gave him a mic? Goldman: Well he finally got himself only his second win last week, I’m guessing there’s going to be a mic glued to his hand all night. Willy: Gotta give the kid some credit. He may not be too hot between the ropes, but the boy can talk…
Dynamite pauses on the stage for a moment soaking in the audience response, then struts down to the ring. The ring is set up with two armchairs, carpet and a table. Dynamite pauses in the ring smirking at the jeers, before raising the mic…
Welcome to the highest rated segment on tonight’s PPV… welcome to The Hot Spot’s Live Lounge! Many of you will have seen my weblog, taken the moment to look into my life. So now TakeDown’s premier entertainer brings you another Chris Dynamite moment, The Live Lounge. Where I share my spotlight with one other superstar, and bring all of you…people a moment you will never, ever forget. You see in wrestling terms I may be considered the equivalent of A.S Livorno Calcio… he smirks at the boos for the cheap shot But in entertainment terms I’m A.C. Milan baby!
He smirks at the fans for a second, before sitting down in one of the armchairs,
So for tonight allow me to welcome my first guest on The Live Lounge… this man made his debut in XWA last week. Now whether he won or lost his match isn’t important he flashes a grin to the camera so all of you try to look human, and welcome ‘The One Man Revolution’ Jake Slayde…

The entrance theme of Jake Slayde hits the PA, and the newcomer emerges from behind the set. Dressed in street clothes, and sporting a bandage on his head from the knock down-drag out between he and Dynamite just a week ago. He joins Dynamite in the ring, pics up the mic provided on the 2nd armchair and takes a seat.
This is a nice lil' set up you have here, dude.

It is isnt't? Only the best... So Jakey Slayde, welcome to the Live Lounge, I see you're still carrying the effects from your XWA debut,
Chris touches the scar on his forehead, revealed because vanity had made him take the bandage off,
quite the debut match eh? A 20 minute classic with possibly the best showman in the game! But tonight, tonight isn't about that is it? Oh no, tonight is bigger, tonight is your X'Dub PPV debut! Im sure every one of these smarks out here is dying to see another classic from 'The One Man Revolution'. And it doesn't get bigger does it? Oh no, PPV debut, international audience and you are... uh... hang on...
he reaches under his chair and pulls out the OTS Running Order,
Uh, lets have a look... blah blah Dan Ripley promo, errrr... blah.... Pure Rules Tag match.. la la lah... Joe Beakman interview segment - that'll be a joy... blah... mystery opponent and O'Dell... he pauses, looks at Jake for a second, then throws the Running Order over his shoulder, So you didn't make the card... Ouch, that must suck....... Still, not everyone makes the card at a PPV at their first attempt, some of us do, but not everyone, so never mind. Any-who, you recently took part in a debut match which set the XWA universe alight, you arrived, and now you're making you debut on PPV here on the Live Lounge, what more could you want huh? SO the question to you, Jake Slayde is, what are your impressions of the XWA so far?

Well Chris, if I didn't think I had the potential to make it here in XWA, I would have never signed on the dotted line. XWA's full of talent. There might be a few douchebags running around, but there's no denying that XWA is the home to some of the premiere athletes in the sport. That's why XWA was my choice. In order to be considered one of the best, you have to compete against the best. Pretty simple logic when ya' think about it.
Jake pauses, allowing his statement to sink in.
Oh yea, and about that thing about not making the card? I guess you must've not gotten the memo. Cuz when I showed up to the arena, I was told by Ms. Easton that it was gonna be you and me, one on one, one more time tonight. Since our last contest was such a ratings grabber. But...uh...I guess it's easy to let that info slip past your ears when you spend more time listening to yourself talk then other people, eh?
The fans cheer in full support of another Dynamite Vs. Slayde match up. Jake nods in approval as he waits for what Chris would say next.

Dynamite scowls at Jake's news, then looks up at the cheering crowd,
Oh you like that don't you? All thrilled at the opportunity to see Jake Slayde bathing in my spotlight again, he turns to Jake Well it looks lime you got your wish doesn't it? Clearly someone backstage is desperate to push you to the fore, and make you a star. he nods But you know what Mr Indy Sensation, I didn't make it easy for you first time, and I'm sure as hell not about to make it easy for you this time. One of the reasons I am totally untouchable is that I don't let things like this get to me... facing you tonight doesn't faze me. However, since this is my show, and I get to ask the questions... how do you feel about your match tonight? Going one on one again with a guy who, last time out, not only beat you, but bust you open in the process?
Dynamite smirks as he lowers his mic and waits for Jake's response,

Jake's response.
Well, if memory serves me correctly, I'm not the only one who got busted open. But you do a much better job at covering it up with that preppy quaff hair cut of yours then I do. *Heh heh heh* As far as how I feel about facing you tonight? Well...I'm pretty excited about it. You see, last week, I managed to bring the best out of you. If I can do that, bring the best out of an opponent, then even in a loss it's worth it. Because I managed to see the other guy at the top of his game. That's how I plan on rising up the ranks. Not by grandstanding and gloating, but be beating who I need to beat at the top of their game. Last week, I saw you at the top of yours. Tonight, you get to see me at the top of mines. And in the end, we'll see how things turn out when the dust settles.
He then waits for the next comment from Dynamite.

Oh, you brought out the best in me did you? Really? It's thanks to you that I won last wek? Maybe if you had focused on being at the top of your game, rather than letting me get to the top of mine you wouldn't have choked in your first ever XWA match! Let me remind you Jake SLayde, in my first match i challenged the Death Metal Goliath, I am the only man in recent history to beat Romeo Davis in a Pure Rules environment, and you say i need your help to be at the top of my game? I'll tell you what, tonight, when your laying staring up at the lights again listening to the comiserations of your oh so loyal fans, you keep taking solice in the fact that you brought out the best in me, and try to forget that you'll have become XWA's newset joke!
Willy: Woah, think the kid just lost his cool?!

*Heh* This coming from the guy who already holds that title? I'll keep that in mind.
Jake chuckles to himself.
Let's face facts, dude. Up to this point, you've been under achieving. Yea, you took on one of the legends of XWA Kayn. Yea, you beat Romeo Davis for the Pure Title. And yea, last week you defeated me. But from how it sounds, you're proud of all that, when you shouldn't be. If I were in your shoes, I'd be pissed. Pissed at myself mainly. Because I would know that I've been low balling it. Just "gettin' by" and not pushing myself to the limits I know I can reach. You reached it against Davis. You reached it against me last week. There's no reason why you shouldn't be reaching it week after week, and not once in the blue moon. But don't worry, you're gonna get to showcase all that untapped talent again tonight. You don't have to worry that lil' blond head of yours on if I'm going to bring it tonight. I bring it every night. What you need to do is go backstage, pop in the tape of last weeks match, and pay close attention to everything you did right in that match. Because the only chance in hell you have of doing it again, is doing it time two tonight. Cuz I'm already expecting it. Like I said, I saw the best Chris Dynamite has to offer last week. So this week, I rise above your best, and best you myself.
Jake then waits for Dynamite's final reply.

Well thank you for that Obi Wan!
Chris smirks a Jake for a moment,
I'll try and reach all that untapped potential which you promse to bring out in me! But as for your psych evaluation doctor Freud, I'm afraid you're waaaay off the mark. You think I'm happy coasting along this year? You think I'm happy with more losses than some people have had matches?
The fans begin a "You're a Loser" chant,
Oh give it a rest! But you know what's funny about all this? Every so often a good soul, such as yourself, comes out here and offers to light a fire under me, to help me reach my potential. It really is a perfect moment for you guys; these idiots will cheer you for being a nice guy, and you get a match where the bookies are also in your favour. It's win win isn't it?! he gets up from his chair and stands by Jake The only difference with you Jakey is that I've beaten you, so I know I can do it again. Yeah I know, there's the old you've seen my best, now I'll see yours, it's all rather pathetic. If we're honest you should have brought your best throughout. But hey, who am I to judge? he crouches down next to the chair so he's face to face with Jake So tonight why don't you try and ignore the rush you get from these mooing idiots chanting your name, and focus on the job in hand. Because we know the old legend 'Nice guys finish last', well you wouldn't want to prove that right...again, would you?!
Chris stands with a smirk and leaves the last words to Jake.

At this time, Jake stands up. The crowd cheers as he stares right into Dynamite's eyes and responds.
I think you're a little mistaken in your assumption of my, Chris. There's a difference between being as you say, a "nice guy", and a guy who respects his opponents, no matter how much of tool they might be. There's a reason why you're here in XWA. You wouldn't be if you weren't good enough. But me being a nice guy? Sorely mistaken my friend. In fact, I guess later tonight I'm just gonna have to show exactly how "not nice" I really am. And ya' know what? I'm looking forward to it. So good luck tonight, Chris. Though you and I know that luck's gonna have nothing[/u...to do with it.
Drops his mic onto the seat and grins. As he begins to back away from Dynamite, his entrance theme cues over the PA.
Matt: I think we're witnessing the birth of yet another heated rivalry here. And if their 1st match was any indication, The fireworks that went up at the top of the show is gonna look like someone lighting a match in comparison!
