Hello eveyone. This is Sebastian Schlager. I am typing this blog entry...journal entry, or whatever you want to call it late at night because I cannot sleep. I have figured that, unlike most people, I will not let you forget about me and will keep you posted on my updates and progress as they come. I know there aren't many that will read these, at least from the Americans. Which is fine. I could careless about those patriot dogs. I still feel very strongly about what I said to XXL. I will always feel that way about America. But enough about that.
As you know, it was announced back on October 7th, 2009, that I was involved in an accident involving one of the weight machines I was using. The machine malfunctioned and the result of that was my tricep being torn off. My first thoughts were ones of extreme pain. Followed by how this would affect my wrestling career. You really don't know what its like until you're in that kind of a situation.
I was quickly rushed to the hospital and was operated on within a couple of hours. Right now, my right arm is in a sling so I am typing this one handed and it is quite difficult. The operation was a success and the pain has been cut down tremendously. The good news is the doctor expects me to have a full recovery. The bad news is that it will take around 4 months to do so. Sadly, I won't be able to finish up the 2008 season for XWA. I know my German fans were looking forward to me taking on XXL for the third time to see if I could take down the giant bastard.
What he doesn't realize though is that I have a twisted nature. As much as the tricep muscle being torn off drove me into insane amounts of pain, I was also loving it. I guess you could say I have an obsession and an addiction to pain. I know for some of you, that might seem like a weird thing. I can't explain why I have it, but I do. My first match with XXL, when it took him five of his finishers to put me down, it only made me come back stronger. The fifth one finished me off because I actually ended up losing a bit of consciousness from the head blows I was taking from his giant arms.
I look forward to facing XXL again and seeing just how much he can throw at me. He may beat me, but he will never keep me down. I know there will come a time when he's off his game, when I will beat him. And that will affect him more than the number of beatings he will ever give me. And why? Because he's bigger, stronger, better. When an underdog beats someone that's supposed to be better, it can eat away at them mentally. And that may all I need for me to take him down more than once. But we will see when I get back. Oh yes, I will be back for the 2010 season of XWA.
For now though, I must go and rest. I have received many cards from you, wishing me well and I appreciate that.
This has been Sebastian Schlager. Until next time, take care, much love and peace from your Warring German.
