We already have a plan in place for dealing with the rosters, involving three Profiles per PS3 and matching dummy PSN accounts for them to collect all the content. There is a 50/50 chance right now, but it's got to go under discussion first in private, then in public.
@black (and Myke subsequently)- apologies if it sounds as if I'm trying to bite heads. There's just a certain amount of misinformation within the observations that were explained. I believe that if one doesn't have all the details, they shouldn't bring them up. Like I said, the idea posted in the final bit of that post is very good, the rest of it though sounds more to me like animosity and complaining under the "banner" of voicing one's opinion. I've been in the game long enough to know one from the other.

I beg to differ on the fact of Cody "complaining" about situation in regards to the titles, namely the World Title and the frequency of which rematches are dulled out. The old system, the one we put into play in 2007, fit the need of what we had envisioned for XWA at the time, and it worked up until now. But now, with a larger grid of World Title caliber characters then we had within the last 3 years, the system needs to be reworked. No systems of such a nature can stay the same forever. Just look at how much we had to overhaul everything in regards to the attributes and abilities? Yes, as far as the World & Diamond Titles go, we...as in you and me, make the call who gets the shots month by month. The fact of the matter is that there are more people ready to get get those shots. I can name 6 characters from Takedown and Overload off the top of my head who should have had chances this year alone had it not been the fact we lost so much time this year as far as production and activity.
Rematches for the World & Diamond Titles should be a privilege at this point, not a right. They should be granted by us on the strength of how well the feud between the characters went, as well as the same factor that Cody stated, being if a character wins the title, the loses the title in their 1st defense, they're rematch isn't voluntary, but mandatory, and to take place at the very next show following the PPV. Should they win the title back on that show, The rubber match happens at the very next show. In the rubber match, should the character who lost the title the previous week lose again, then that's it. They had their chances, and the next challenger moves into the fold. Should they defend it, same story. The initial champion steps to the back of the line, a new challenger is put into play, but since there were two rematches already, should the champion lose the title there after, they're done unless they find there way into one of the big PPV matches. There by we see the World Title competed for more, and more of the characters deserving of a legitimate World/Diamond Title shot get those shots.
Sounds complicated, but it's not. All it is, is speeding the process of rematches up to go the span of 3 weeks instead of 3 months. Cody is absolutely right in regards that having them span 3 months isn't fair for those waiting in the wings, because their ARE characters waiting in the wings who should be getting World Title shots. Saying they should be going after the Gold Titles during that wait is a cop out, because they naturally will be going for the Gold Title belts. But so should all the guys who have already held the World/Diamond Titles. I believe that priority next season needs to be seeing the new crop of contenders, and contenders who have been in the picture for a long time, if ever be put into the World Title matches, and the character who have held the World Title between 2008 and 2009 all start competing for the Gold Titles. Not exclusively, but definitely at a greater frequency then they do the World Title. Like I said before, the titles across the board need to be used as tools, not trophies. 3 Month title feuds aren't acceptable at this stage of the game for the Platinum belts. For the Gold titles, sure. That helps make them more prestigious and adds to their value, especially when two people work out a solid angle for it such as what Cade and Sylk did for the GrandSlam title. But the World & Diamond Titles IMHO need to have more exposure then just PPV belts. Shortening the rematches to span a months time instead of three does that, and gives far more worthy characters the chance to compete for it as well.

I agree with everything Mat said 100%, he made some very valid points and Oz helped reinforce said points. It makes complete and total sense to make that a possibility for next year.

We're still going to try and hammer our definitive revisions on how rematches will work, which will in the end be similar to the idea I posted in my previous post, but there does need to be revisions made in the system, that fact in undeniable. In past years, we've had upwards of 7-8 guys we've had that are World Title ready, and only 4-5 that were Diamond Title ready. Going into 2010, there's close 14-16 characters who are World Title ready, and 8-19 Diamond characters that are Diamond Title ready. The largest such grid we've had ever. So there's a need to fix things to give as many people a legitimate shot at each title as possible, while also expanding on more people going after the gold titles. Part of the fix will involve the fact that there will more then likely be a lot more multi-person matches for the Platinum Titles then in recent years. Should a champion lose in said matches, they'll naturally get a rematch, but in the case of 1 on 1 matches for the Platinum belts, that's where the details need to be worked out. We'll do so on our end, and when we come up with something that remote makes sense while rectifying the issue, it'll be posted for all to see.
As far as the Diamond Division as a whole, that's a whole other situation in and of itself. The new crop such as Cyn, Minami, Okami and Vesper have done well to breath some life back into the division, and the Onyx Title mix is doing well to it's end for the end of this season. The Pearl Title situation is one that's already be pre-planned, so we're not worried about that so much. For 2010, Diamonds will be able to appear on either show of their choosing, though that's only a cosmetic addition. Certain characters need to step their games up, or in some cases...step their games BACK up. The issue isn't what's being done in the division and what's not being done, it's how MUCH is being done, which is not nearly enough. We need quantity AND quality out of the Diamond Division. When we get that, everything else will most likely fix itself.
