Manami/Vesper was a good match, I liked how it ended allows the feud to cont. maybe. Also can the Viking be stopped?

2-1 on the night. Not a bad showing for my characters. Ina & Bull took care of business, Ripley did what Ripley does. But it was the Slayde Vs. Dynamite match that stood out. Even though Jake lost (GASP!!!) it was probably one of the best matches I've seen all year. They went at it back and forth for over 20 minutes, and that's without counting the entrances. Traded finishers, traded counters, it looked like something you'd see in Japan or ROH. Can't wait to get round two started.
And I'm gonna make a prediction for 2010...Buliwyf is gonna be a champion. World Champ, GrandSlam Champ, Pure Champ...doesn't matter. That dude's a freakin' BEAST. Of course XXL won't take losing lieing down, but DAMN. He got a lickin' put to him. Had his moments of offense, but Buliwyf dictated the pace from bell to bell.

Gotta love how Milo gets so close to beating Ripley, only for Ripley to do something underhanded and win himself, lol. Makes it totally worth it.  And I agree 100% about Buliwyf. Some characters just seem to have "it". He's one of them. Awesome IC reads, and he doesn't fail to deliver the good in game. He's just what Takedown needs, a no frills, no apologies Monster Heel. |
