Following a segment, Takedown returns to ringside, where the entrance theme of "The Russian Beast" begins to play.
Matt: Last week, Kayn gave Drazen Petrovovic all her can handle in the ring. He put Kayn to task, and Kayn succeeded.
Buzz: That he did, and if I were a betting man, I'd say we're probably going to hear about it in just a few moments.
Drazen enters the ring, clad of course in his Russian Military Officer uniform. He walks to the PA announcer and extends his hand for the mic. Upon receiving it, he turns to address the fans, as well as Kayn.
It is not everyday that I am ever impressed. But I will say here with confidence that I am in fact impressed with your performance last week against me, Kayn. I challenged the stance of you being regarded as one of this company's best, and you met that challenge. So in that, congratulations are in order.
Matt: Ok, that I was not expecting.
Drazen pauses briefly.
However,on that token, the mistakes I made last week, are mistakes I have no intentions on making again. Where I am from, mistakes like that can cost you far more then mere victory. And I pride myself in being victorious in battle. Which is the reason why tonight Kayn, I challenge you yet again. However, tonight's contest will have a contrasting ending to our last one. It will be my hand raised in victory this time.
Drazen lowers his mic. He wouldn't have to wait long to hear the response from that of Kayn.

*Within moments "Hammer Smashed Face" played over the PA in the Madrid Arena, which brought the fans in Spain to their feet. After a few more seconds Kayn walked out from behind the stage curtain which insighted a near riot response from the crowd. Kayn stood at the top of the ramp and smiled, then pointed to the fans before heading down to the ring.*
Matt: Well partner, here comes Kayn and these fans love him.
Buzz: Well while I respect what he did for us with that whole XCW debacle, I still can't understand why he gets such a response from these people.
*Kayn made it to ringside and looked into the ring where Drazen hadn't moved more than his eyes since calling out the "Death Metal Goliath". Kayn stood for a moment before walking around the ring and getting a mic from the announcer's table, he then climbed the ring steps and entering the ring. His music faded as he walked up to Drazen with no intimidation in his eyes and stood in front of him for a moment before bringing the mic to his lips and speaking.*
"I'll be honest Drazen, you are every bit the beast that your name says you are. Our match last week had done something for me that hasn't been done for quite some time and that's re-energize me. For a long time last season when I was running over just about everyone that entered the ring with me, I started to get into a bit of a rut, and then being taken out after my first match this year, I haven't had much of a chance to feel out the new competition here in the XWA, so it felt good to step into the ring with a true competitor."
*Kayn smiled a little as the crowd cheered. He then continued.*
"You and I are alot more alike than I originally thought Drazen. You, just like myself, are pretty much straight to the point, you don't like to beat around the bush. You came out here and challenged me for a return match, now we can banter back and forth and so and and such, but instead how about I just accept."
*The crowd explodes as Kayn lowers his mic and looks at Drazen for his response.*

Drazen speaks his response.
In my country, all we know is how to be straight forward. Not like many of the other men we find here on Takedown, I have no reason to pander or parade myself as being something I already know I am. I let my actions inside of this ring do that for me. One of XWA's tag lines is "In the ring is the only place it matters." If only that were actually a case for many of the so called "superstars" on this program. You are the only one I've seen worth any of the hype you get. Which is the key reason why I must...no...why I will defeat you. For you've proven last week that you're a man worthy enough for me to focus my undivided attention on. Which may, or may not...be a good thing.
Drazen wasn't a man who was big on words, but often times what little words he did speak, reverberated with intensity. He awaits Kayn's response.

*Kayn smiled a little at Drazen's last comment before replying.*
"Well I guess we'll find out later on tonight exactly who's undivided attention is more dangerous."
*Kayn's smile seemed to fade to a more serious look, as his theme music began to play over the PA system. Kayn stood in the ring with his opponent for the evening before walking out backwards, still facing Drazen.*
Matt: This has all the makings of a historic feud Buzz, two men that while they may have a professional respect for each other's ability, neither one will back down from the other.
Buzz: The major difference between these two though Matt is that Drazen is more focused than Kayn could ever be. I'm going to have to say that the long Kayn is in Drazen's sights, the shorter his career is going to get.
*By this time Kayn had reached the top of the ramp. He paused and pointed down to the ring at Petrovovic showing no fear and no intimidation from the Russian Beast. After a few seconds Kayn lowered his arm and headed back behind the curtain.*
END for Kayn
