And that message is, he's back and better then ever. UFC 103 was a night full of epic fights, but Belfort stole the show in how he came out and plain old dominated Rich Franklin. Rich is a top flight fighter, yes, but he looked like he didn't belong in the same octagon with Belfort. He ended up putting Franklin away some 3 minutes into round one by TKO, sending a message to the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight division that he is not to be taken lightly.

I give credit to where credit is due and Rich Franklin, though one day may possibly end up a HoF'er and I'm saying possibly, he went up someone who definitely belongs there. Belfort has always been a top Light Heavyweight and Middleweight.

FYI- bumping up an old one here, but in case you hadn't known already, UFC has signed Silva Vs. Belfort for UFC 108, the first event of 2010, for the Middleweight Title. That's gonna be an epic right there.
