Backstage Reunion (Baby)

So after her appearance and challenge to Marisol Cardinale, it was firmly established now that Channelle was in fact back in the fold of the Diamond Division, and that meant naturally that she was going to have to have a word with her current "BFF".

Walking the halls inside of the arena, she finds the designated locker room of Viewer Discretion's, and gently knocks on the door.

Hellooooooooo!!! Guess who? Can I come in?

It was Jenna inside of the locker room alone as the boys were on their way to the ring their match. Lacing up her boots in preparation for her match tonight she hears a familiar voice on the other end of the door, and invites her in.

Jenna looks up and leans back in her seat as Channelle steps inside of the room, looking a little different from the last time she had seen her.

Well, long time no see Channelle. You're looking pretty stunning aren't you? I was beginning to think you had forgotten that we were...you know...a team?

I saw that coming.

Channelle stepped a little further in and took a look around this room, which was naturally a little more accomodating that most locker rooms, since it was occupied by one of XWA's high profile commodities. Despite twinge of emotion in Jenna's voice, she could sense a focus in her as her "prize", the Pearl Title, sat on a table not too far from her along with Sylk's Grandslam belt.

You've done pretty well while I was away though...starting to think you might even need a partner, Baby.

A smile comes to her face.

I know how people were trying to put a spin on things and say I disappeared because I was jealous that you beat Amber and I couldn't, but that's not how thing went down. I had to take care of some business, that's all. I should have told you something, but I didn't and I'm sorry about that. It's just one of those things I had to go and handle on my own.

It's all over now though, so we can look to the future. I just wanted to let you know that tonight you're gonna see some changes that might seems a little drastic, but hey...nothing ever stays the same forever, right? And you don't have to worry about that Pearl Title. Come Only The Strong, I've got your back girl. If those Black Diamond skanks think they "rule the roost", they've got another thing coming.

There was a part in Baby that really couldn't blame Channelle is she really did have to step away for personal reasons. Sometimes things like that happen and it's not really something that one person has control over, especially with another person.

It's alright. I'm sorry if I kind of snapped at you earlier, Channelle. What you do outside of the business is your business. Unless you choose to let me in on it, there's no need to let me know about it.

She sighs, then smiles as she looks over the titles resting against each other on that table.

If anything, I'm relieved. I'm relieved you're back, and I'm relieved that I managed to defend the Pearl Title. Now they have to come again if they just think they're gonna run over me just because I'm a "rookie".

Jenna then got up from her seat and stretched out. It was time to get warmed up a bit.

These girls haven't seen anything yet!

Oh don't you worry, Jenna...after I'm done, the last thing anyone will be thinking about is trying to diss you.

I'm going to make it my business though to see that you are taken care of. That's a promise. Now...show me some love girlfriend!

Channelle extends her arms out, and Jenna responds by giving the girl a friendly hug. They're both all smiles.

Alright, I'll let you warm-up now, girl. I've got to get ready for my match too. I'll see you around...good luck out there.

And with a wink and a smile, she leaves. Just as she closes the door to VD's locker room though her cell phone rings.

Hello? Ah, how're you doing? You're on your way to the arena now? Wonderful. Oh, a signal? I think you'll know when to make your move when you see it.
