Yeah, it's been quite the frustrating season. One win and holding for anyone counting out there. I admit, the losing streak is affecting me. But it only drives me harder. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, others have greatness thrust upon them, and still others don't become great at all. I guess I would fall in the last category... or at least I am at the moment. But I refuse to complain about it. I will say this though, that Buliwyf dude, he's probably gonna do something in XWA. Keep your eye on him.
Following the loss, I had a bit of a premonition. Maybe I'm not cut out to fight heavyweights...at least at the moment. My focus now is squarely on one Bryan Yang and his No Limits title. Apparently, he's had ten wins in a row since the belt was the X-Gen title last season. I don't know if he reminds me of Anderson Silva because he wins all the time or John Cena because...well, he wins all the time. That's your call, XWA fans.
And speaking of the fans, thanks for your support and letters and cards during my rehab following my wars with !!!JONNY PUNCH!!! over the summer. Maybe I came back too soon, but I don't regret it. When you go out due to injury, your spot is someone else's spot. You can choose to work harder or be forgotten. I choose to work harder and return earlier than scheduled. And at the end of the month in Italy, I'll be looking to end the streak of title defenses for Bryan Yang. Someone has to. Might as well be me. Why me? Why not.
Gotta rest up. Been enjoying my first night in London, but I have to prepare for TV in the AM.
X out.
