The XWA crossed the water for the second time in the season. This time around it was Europe, and for starters England. Takedown was now on the air...

Matt: For the first time in two years, the XWA is live in London! Welcome to Takedown everybody, Matt Goldman and Buzz Berman at ringside, and we are fresh off of the heels of Ring Rage '09, a night full of surprises, controversy...and a new XWA World Champion!

Buzz: It was an unforgettable evening, that's for sure. Now, we're on the first stop of the XWA European Tour, on the road to the third annual Only The Strong Tournament!

Matt: And the last spot in The Last Dance will be filled in Italy, but first...the superstars of Takedown give the fans of the UK an encore. And heeeeeeeeere weeeeeeeee go!!!

Right on cue, the sound of Bro-Kin's "For The Vein" begins to play, and the abundant cheer of the crowd quickly sours to boos as Viewer Discretion steps out from the back. Breaker and Ryan X. Caliber flanked Robby Sylk and Jenna Slade, who came out arm in arm, all smiles...their respective title belts still in hand.

Matt: And it looks like we start the night with the self-proclaimed "Mr. Takedown" himself, the still reigning Grabdslam Champion, accompanied by the still reigning Pearl Champion...

Buzz: And might I say they're looking like a million dollars as usual. You know Matt, these two are the first "item" in the XWA to have singles titles at the same time. I think it's safe to call them the current "power couple" of the XWA!

Matt: Well, do us the favor of not letting them know that. I would want their egos to get too big now...

Buzz: Was that sarcasm?

The group had now made their way into the ring. Sylk had a microphone in his hands, and the show was about to begin.

I'd like to start off tonight by saying a little something about "critics". You know...the worthless pieces of crap that sit on their asses and write about what they "think" things are. Like how they think a movie is bad. Or how they think you should buy a certain album. Or in this case, how good they think a wrestler is.

I bet nearly each and everyone one of you who watched Ring Rage was sold on Kris Cade's brand, now weren't you? You were all feeding on his crap about how I supposedly couldn't beat him? How I wasn't as good as him? How he was gonna finish what he started at Soul Survivor?

He chuckles.

Then I can only imagine the looks on your faces when Robby Sylk...once again...hushed the crowd. Silenced the critics...and not only beat Kris Cade, but beat him convincingly. See Kris, you should never judge a book by it's cover. You should have done your homework, dude...or...you should have listened to what it is that I had to say. What it is that I say every...single...time. That I am the Big Game Player! When the lights are shining the brightest is when I shine the brightest, and Ring Rage was no exception!

I bet you came in pretty confident, didn't you? You had Roachie stack the deck in your favor by making it a steel cage match, and then based on one single match bewteen us...had it in your mind that you were better than me. Wasn't that cute?

But WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!

Matt: Nothing like a Robby Sylk victory lap, huh?

I'm good at being good at why I do...but I'm even better at being bad. Each and everyone of you I bet was just itching for me to lose this title, weren't you? Everyone was rooting for the hero...the hometown boy from North Carolina...and you went back to your family empty handed, except for probably questions like "what just happened?"

What happened is that you got beat, Cade. It happens to best of us, but for the truly "best"...it doesn't happen very often. I told you before Kris, the age of heroes is over. You're not Superman, and this isn't a fairy tale, because there was no happy ending for you.

Why? Because as of right now, I have only one thing left to say.

NO REMATCHES.

Matt: Are you kidding me!? Just who does Robby Sylk think he is where he thinks he can call the shots like that?

Buzz: He's the GOLD* is what he is, and he's already proven his point by beating Cade. Why should he give the man another shot?

And with that said, my girl Baby has something she's got to say as well.

The boos were almost deafening as Sylk now handed the mic to Jenna.

I can relate to those "critics" being a bunch of idiots myself, babe. Because they were the same critics who thought I didn't have a chance in hell of defending the Pearl Title at RR against Helena Troy.

Boy, did I prove you knuckleheads wrong or what?

Baby laughs hysterically as the boos keep coming.

You all thought that just because she's beaten someone like Ashley Diamond that she was going to mop the floor with me, huh? You people really are gullible, you know that?

Ashley Diamond's got nothing on me, baby! There's no other Diamond on the roster who's got anything on me, whether they've got more experience or not, whether they've held more titles or beaten certain people or whatever. None of that crap has ever meant a damn thing to me, because it's all just a load of crap...

YOU!

Matt: She is showing no remorse to these fans here tonight. Disgusting...

Just like Robby here, I stand in this ring having proven my point. I proved that talk really is cheap, and that if you go just by what you see once, or by what you "think" is going to happen...you just might end up a little disappointed, like I'm sure a whole lot of you probably were. But unlike Robby, I AM going to give another opportunity. I'm going to give you one more chance Helena...at Only The Strong.

Before Ring Rage, you said something about having a better idea of what I can do. Right about now, you have a COMPLETE idea...and I'm going to give you a second chance to show to me that you can do something about it.

You've got the second chance now to make a first impression. Don't say that I'm not a giving person, honey.

As she finishes speaking then, suddenly theme of the TakeDown GM begins to play, and the boos perk up cheers, as it appears that Mike Roach was on his way.

Mike Roach steps out, smiling and waving to the British fans as he made his way to the ring. Then, he suddenly stopped as he got midway down the ramp and looked back to the stage. He whistled back, and right on cue came out those damn Dooleys to join him.

Buzz: W...wait. What the heck is this? What're The Dooleys doing with Mike Roach of all people!?

Matt: No idea, but I suppose we're going to find out soon enough.

They now step into the ring. Roach had a mic in his hand already to address the statements made by Sylk & Slade. You could see a look of tension and anger on the faces of Breaker & Caliber, whom had just had a go at The Dooleys a few weeks before.

I decided to bring out my newly appointed "security detail" with me, because I know you're not going to be all too happy with what I have to say, Robby.

First off though...Jenna? You want to give Helena Troy another title shot, huh? I do believe that match can be arranged for OTS, no problem...but Robby? For some strange reason, you still seem to think to yourself that you're the shot caller around here. You're right about one thing, you did beat Kris Cade at RR, and fair and square I might add. The Steel Cage leaves no questions or excuses behind it as to who the better man is that night who walks out of it.

But that was that night. On this night, as far as I'm concerned...cade has a victory over you by DQ, and you have a victory over him by pinfall, so that makes your record a 1-1 tie!

Matt: Oh, I think I see where this is going.

Soooooo...I say, no...I order...that we have the tie-breaker at OTS for the GrandSlam Championship!

The fans exploded. Meanwhile, Sylk was furious. All Roach could do was smile as it looked as if Sylk was about to respond.

Roach!? Ever since you took this job, you've done nothing but try to screw me over!

He wanted to pounce, but when he instinctively moved towards Roach, the Dooleys stepped forward to block him, looking like sharks that smelled blood. Sylk was breathing heavy in anger, but slowly backed off.

You think throwing your authority around is going to make a difference, huh? Fine! You want me to kick Cade into next week one more time, then you've got it. What's going to happen to him though is going to be on your conscience though, Roach. Yours!

Hatebreed's "I Will Be Heard" hits the PA soon after, and the London faithful explode into cheer as the incumbent Kris Cade steps out from backstage. He heads to ringside and joins the festivities in the ring as it was announced he'd get another chance to make good in finally silencing Sylk and gaining the GrandSlam Title. Once inside the ring, Cade gives a nod to the GM Roach, and asks for the mic. Once it's handed to him, he looks Sylk dead in the eye (Or attempts to since when not in action they're always covered by shades.) and speaks.

What's going to happen to me? Jesus, Robby. Do ever get tired of stinking up arenas across the globe? Because you spend so much time talking out of your ass that it must smell like someone's dropped a log in the middle of the ring every week.

A more then agreeable reaction from the fans follows.

Let me start off by saying congratulations for a successful defense at Ring Rage. For once in your miserable life, you actually shut up long enough to fight, and give me a pretty good working over. I knew somewhere in that pathetic excuse for a carcass you call a body was an actual wrestler and not a conspiracy theorist. But like the GM here said, all that does is tie things up. As we stand here in this ring right now, it's all square. Even Steven. So now the question isn't can Robby Sylk beat Kris Cade. You already did. The question is, can he do it again? That's where things get a lil' tricky my friend. Because it took us being in a 15 foot high steel cage for you to get the drop on me, my friend. Whereas when it was just you and me with no added variables, I beat your ass from one end of the ring and back, before your evil henchmen decided they wanted to come say your sorry hide that is. While you showed the world you can beat me in a Steel Cage match, you've still yet to prove you can beat me in a WRESTLING match. We're gonna find that out in three weeks, my friend. But tonight? I think these people would rather see something else. But, let's see what the GM thinks of it 1st.

Cade leans over and whispers something into Roach's ear that makes his eyes light up and a Kool-Aid smile cross his lips. Cade hands him back the mic so he can relay the idea to the masses.

Before Roach could speak, Sylk stabs in again...

As I recall Cade, you're the one who tried to use all four corners of that cage to flatten me. I didn't even need the cage to knock you out, and I won't need any other "advantage" the GM tries to put into your favor to beat you again.

Sylk pauses for a moment.

The only thing I hate more than critics are spin doctors. Let's face it, Kris...the only one who really stinks out here is you, because Mr. Good Sportsmanship, Mr. Pure Wrestling can't take a loss without making it sound like the odds weren't stacked against him. You should have read the fine print when you saw that it was Robby Sylk you were up against, pal!

He turns his attention Roach now...

You know something? The more I think of it, the more a "tie-breaker" sounds good to me. You don't even need to worry about your "investment" either, Mike...because there'll be nobody in my corner for this match. I'm going to write the last word in this book by myself, and it's going to end with Kris Cade leaving another arena empty handed...and this time, it'll be the last time!

Now, what kind of handicaps are you gonna stack up this time, "boss"?

I don't think there's anything extra that needs to be added to this one. If you want a straight 1-on-1, you've got it.

HOWEVAH...

Because, let's face it Sylk, I just don't trust you...if anyone...and I mean ANYONE interferes in this match, I will strip you of the GSC and fire the intruder on the spot...as authorized by Carmella Blackheart herself!

Matt: Wow! That's going to even the odds tremendously!

Now that brings us to tonight. Like I said before, no handicaps this time. All three of you; Sylk, Breaker and Caliber will be working together tonight in a 6 Man Tag match, and your opponents will be Kris Cade...and whichever two Dooleys wants to get them some!

The crowd goes wild! VD however doesn't look too enthusiastic.

So which of you guys wants in?

Spaz quickly grabbed the mic...

Sumbitches busted me open the last time! You know I want me some more of that!!! Whut? You didn't know, assheads? I LIKE TO BLEED!!! It turns me on!

And you too Bull, I want you to lay that big I-talyan's ass out again, just like the last time!

Yeah, boy...

Bull's laugh was evil. Pure evil. Really bad intentions.

You fellers are in for the GOOOOOOD Hurt!!! HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAH!!!

Well, I guess that all takes care of that, doesn't it? Gentlemen...good luck tonight!

Roach once again was all smiles as his group now left the ring. As the scene comes to a close VD is seen in the ring still, now somehow trying to strategize while Roach and company head back up the ramp.

Matt: So a 6 Man Tag tonight, but probably more important than that, we've got our first two title matches for OTS!!!

Buzz: Maybe Roach does know what he's doing after all. Maybe.
