The Moment Of Truth (invite)

[Carmella Blackheart]

After a segment of the PPV finishes, the scene jumps backstage in the parking lot where a limousine pulls up. It's like Deja Vu again as the driver comes around to open the door, and out steps Carmella Blackheart once more.

The fans erupt inside of the arena, and even more so when the door opens on the other side of the vehicle and out comes the recently return Combatant Xtraordinaire, Kayn.

Fabiola is there in waiting to greet them.

Fab: Ms. Blackheart...what's Kayn doing with you here?

Well, I was elated that after a long absence and healing his injuries that Kayn finally was ready to get back into action. He came to me last week, and I think that it's obvious what he wanted. Tonight, he gets it...a match one-on-one with XCW's Devin Damian, and I will be in Kayn's corner.

Fab: But...why? I'd imagine this match is going to be very personal...

You're right, but it's every bit as much about business as well. You remember the announcement I was saving up at the Supershow? Tonight, I make that announcement, and it's one that will put things in perspective to the entire wrestling universe. That's all that I'll say for now, but I did invite one XCW President Brock Bentley to the show tonight, to accompany Damian to the ring so that when the smoke clears, he hears it firsthand with the rest of the world.

And before I forget, this match will be a Pure Rules match. I don't want to get in between this man and his revenge.

Fabiola's attention then goes to Kayn.

Fab: Well, Kayn...welcome back! What are your thoughts going into this match then?

[Kayn]

*As the camera panned to Kayn the crowd exploded, waiting to hear Kayn's first words since March.*

"Thanks Fabiola, first things first I want to say it's great to be back in the XWA and it's even better to be right here in Charlotte, North Carolina."

*A huge pop comes from the crowd in the Time Warner Cable Center. Kayn pauses for a moment and listened to the cheers from the crowd which brings a smile to his face before continuing.*

"March 17th 2009 is a night that was written into the history book of this great company. That was a night that no one saw coming. Not myself, not Ms. Blackheart, not anyone. That was the night that the XCW made their mark on the XWA and they made their mark at the expense of me by taking me out of action."

*Boos erupted from the crowd in the arena as Kayn kept talking.*

"Last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital was trying to get back to my feet after a chair shot that split me open. The doctors told me what had happened and that there was a very good possibility that I would never be able to wrestle again due to me almost having my head kicked clear off my shoulders. Now most people in that situation would have accepted what fate handed them, but as I lay in my hospital bed and I watched Takedown the next week after my 'accident' and I watched Devin Damian run his mouth about how I failed and to be perfectly honest, he was right. I did fail. I failed the XWA, I failed Mr. Gallas and Ms. Blackheart and mostly I failed the great XWA fans."

*At that moment the entire crowd in North Carolina began chanting Kayn's name. Kayn looked at Ms. Blackheart then back to Fabolia before taking a deep breath and continuing.*

"I failed everyone because I didn't see it coming and I wasn't able to stop the cancer that attacked our company right then and there. Well, that momentary error on my part that took me out for 5 months and tonight, I promise that gets corrected."

*The crowd explodes as Kayn focuses on the camera and makes a bold statement.*

"Devin Damian, you have the audacity to call yourself 'The Pure One', you are nothing but a common thug with no knowledge of what it is to be 'Pure'. Well tonight you're going to step into MY ring under MY rules and I'll show you what the true meaning of the word 'Pure' is, and after I beat you, and I promise I WILL beat you, then you'll know the true meaning of failure."

*Kayn then looks over to Ms. Blackheart.*

"Shall we?"

*Ms. Blackheart nods as she leads the way with Kayn following right behind her, but not before Kayn thanks Fabolia for her time.*
