In a new interview with Cory Ledesma, he goes into a bit more detail on how attributes (Not abilities, attributes) are earned for caws. As has been known for weeks now, you can build attributes in any game mode, Career Mode, Exhibition, RTWM, Online...anywhere. What's interesting is the fact that it would appear that we won't be stuck having to work on 1 caw at a time. From what he says basically...caws earn attributes even when they're AI controlled. As he said in the interview "You can have a 6 man battle royal with 6 created superstars and they all will earn attributes based on how they fight. You earn more attributes when actually playing as a created superstar though." So that in a nutshell means you can work on multiple caws. Or better still, you can FARM them by simply using the more then one controller. Choose a caw, select your opponent, set them to player 2, and beat the living hell out of him (or her). You earn attributes for it regardless. So you can gain some MASSIVE points in just one sitting.
Also confirmed on the gamingring podcast is that attributes don't "fill" like last year. As your earn attributes, they build up. You're then given the OPTION to assign them to whatever category you choose. So you can build your caw to whatever desired overall you want, then just stop using the attribute points that caw earns. So if you want a guy who's a respectable 89, just build his attributes in the areas you want until he reaches 89 overall, then don't use the points he earns after that. Each caw accrues their own points. The better you play, the more points you get, plus there are bonuses like a style bonus and a winning streak bonus that will give you even more points.
All and all, this new bit of info means that we'll all be able to build our caws at a much faster rate then 09. Still no definites on how abilities are earned or assigned, but at this point I'm thinking they'll be earned the same way as attributes are. Needless to say, this info changes a lot as far as building your rosters.
