Following a match, Ring Rage cuts backstage were Lionel Xander stands at the guerrilla position. A confident, cocky smirk adorns his face as he begins to address the fans in the arena and viewers at home.
When President Barack Obama ran for office, the focus of his campaign hinged on two things, hope and change. And in many ways, tonight's main even...The Crucibal hinges on the same ideals. Each man going in, steps into that cell with the hopes of making it out the man who amasses the most pins. And the change is obvious, that man becomes the new XWA World Champion. But I don't rely on hope, or change. I rely on skill and ability. The same skill and ability that's carried me to where I am in the industry. The same skill and ability that makes me a world class athlete. A world wide phenom. Last week on Overload, I proved not only that I belong in this match, but that I'm the odds on favorite. Not that drunk Punch, not that hairy chump Blaze, not the bald gorilla Tryton, the comedian Heaven OR "The Champ". Me. It's not every match I go into where I have the edge in experience. But I've got more ring time then all 5 of my opponents tonight combined. And it's that ring presence, the same ring presence I used to lay Punch out on the outside of the ring, then lay Blaze out and pick up the 1, 2, 3...that's going to win me something I should have won a long time ago. The XWA World Title. Everything I've done up to this point has just been leading up to the inevitable. And tonight, I saved the best performance for last.
As he gives his confident smirk once again, Ring Rage goes into it's next segment.
