Hello ladies and gentlemen. Joe Beakman here, and I'm joined at this time by one of XWA's newest international acquisitions, Cyn Nister.
The camera scrolls a bit to bring Cyn into the frame.
In your debut match here in XWA, you put on an impressive performance against Minami Kuroguchi, a fellow newcomer as well as a Joshi much like yourself. There's been a lot of internet buzz about you up until this point. People have been saying that you might not fit the mold of an XWA Diamond.
And those people would be right. Because I'm not a Diamond. As I said at the supershow. All it is...is a branding XWA management have cast upon a division full of lackluster talent. Maybe two years ago when there was actual competition. But in this day and age of XWA, the Diamond Division is a joke.
Whoa, Cyn. Don'tcha think that's...kinda harsh?
The only reason it'd be harsh to anyone else is because the truth always is. The Division is SOFT...and getting softer by the week. Whereas once is was home to the best female wrestling in the world, it's degraded itself down to a glorified beauty pageant, complete with 15 minute talent competitions where they wow us with just how shallow and contemptible they are. I'm not here to win a popularity contest. I'm here to prove that I'm the best female wrestler on the planet. The United States to me is the final frontier. I've won championships in Europe, Japan and Australia. And I will be champion here. It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
Those are bold words there, Cyn. You do know you've got a large ladder to climb to get to that point, right?
Large ladder? Of what? There's only 10% of the entire Diamond roster who actually impress me, or even have me worried. And I know exactly what the remaining 90% would say. "You're a nobody, why do I need to impress you?" And that's why they don't impress. They have the hive mind mentality that just because someone's new that they're unseasoned. Unskilled. Untested. You see Joseph, a lot of the females of XWA seem to thing that just because they've made it here, that they're the best. Most of them are the ones who've gone the softest. Like let's use for example...Kim Hunter. Here's a woman who from what I here was at the forefront of wrestling here in America a few years ago. Now look at her. How do you go from being such a hot commodity to being a total joke in such a short span of time? I'll tell you how. By going soft. And as far as soft goes, she's a step under Marshmallow Fluff.
Willy: DAYUM!!! You weren't kiddin' when you said she ain't here to make friends, Buzz.
Matt: That's a scary woman right there. And it's a focused scary, not an intimidating scary.
It almost sounds like you have something against Kim there, Cyn.
Maybe I do. Maybe I'm sick and tired of seeing her here in XWA. The way she just seems to suck up the air in arenas with her bickering. He silly little purple hair. That god ugly get-up she wears to the ring. Maybe it's time someone finally wrote Kim Hunter's epitaph. And maybe that person is me.
I...is that a challenge against Kim Hunter?
No, I'm asking does she want to join me for a game of Sudoku. All she needs to do, is answer the call. I know she's here, probably lamenting off her latest loss. But she has nothing to worry about. Because the beating I give her tonight is going to make every loss she's ever had in her career look like losing a game of Connect Four. She won't be the last, and she won't be the first...but she will be...
...the next.
Cyn leaves the area while the ringside team speak.
Buzz: How do you respond to something like that? I mean, we'd heard this Nister chick was intense...but MAN! That made me feel uncomfortable, and I'm not even who she was talking about.
Matt: For whatever reason, it seems she's focused her cross hairs on Kim Hunter. If I know anything about Hunter, I know she won't back down from this, but you have to wonder if taking up the challenge of someone like Cyn Nister is wise.
Tony: Wise or not, this is once Kim can't run from. She's been called out. Her legacy in this sport, whatever it's worth in her career at this point...has been challenged. For the 1st time in a long time, I think we're going to see the real Kim Hunter. And she's going to get "real" serious going up against that amazon.
The next match starts to commence. Kim's response would come later in the PPV.
