As the Ring Rage PPV rolls on, the fans are treated to the expected appearance of Pollox Troy to the arena. Boos ring out from the stands as he steps out from backstage, his music filling the arena speakers. The lack of support didn't affect Pollox in the least as always, he mere smirks and exchanges pleasantries with a few fans along the walkway to the ring. Clad in his signature black suit, Pollox climbs the ring step, picking up the mic that had been provided for him along the way. Once inside of the ring, he stands briefly, taking in the jeers and boos of the fans as if it were music to his ears before speaking out.
I think it doesn't need to be said that...well...I proved my point last week against young Mr. Finesse. He made the mistake of saying that "we're on the same boat." I in turn proved otherwise. I showed him that he's got a lot more lessons to be learned before he can even think about being in the same "boat" as me. And I bet all of you hated it. You hated seeing one of XWA's best and brightest young studs get picked apart by a TRUE veteran in this business. It's a dirty job, but someone needed to do it. Up to this point in his young XWA career, Finesse has wrestled a lot of matches. But he's yet to be tested. His true level of skill has yet to be seen, if it actually exists at all. Finesse my boy, it's time for you to grow up. To learn the hard, hard lessons that can only be taught between these ropes. And that can only be taught by someone who's learned them years ago. One day, you're going to thank me for this. Because by me in a nutshell decimating you now, you'll be a better wrestler down the road.
Matt: Is this guy serious? He's freakin' delusional.
Tony: Not in the least, Matt. There's always a method behind this man's madness. He's not known as "The Master Manipulator" for nothing.
Before I go on though, I'd like for you to join me in the ring, Finesse.
Pollox waits for Finesse to accept his invitation.
