The match was over. Ryan had been laid out for the first time in the 2009 season. It was technically his first loss. He had a large gash running from the outside edge of his right eyebrow, running through it, and then partially down his nose. His face was covered in blood, as was his chest. As a matter of fact, he even had some blood on his stomach and tights. He was a bloody mess. Ryan was dragged and tossed around the ring for nearly 15 minutes, with 10 of those being minutes he was busted open. He struggles to one knee, as he watches Syrus celebrate his victory.
Finally, Syrus makes his way to the back, and it's only the broken down Ryan in the middle of the TakeDown ring. He looks out to the crowd, who were on their feet with a standing ovation. Ryan slowly makes it up to his feet, and calls for a mic. He receives it, as asked. The mic is raised to his lips, however, he's in complete and total silence. He lowers it again, looking out to the crowd. He had survived for 15 minutes, taking the worst beating in his career. He lost. Yet, he was more than satisfied. He was happy. He brings the mic back up to his lips, and speaks loud, and clearly.
I'm still alive and breathing.
Cheers. Loud cheers.
And I just showed you, the TakeDown crowd, what to expect come Ring Rage. I just showed you what Ryan Blaze will bring to the table in order to get the World Title around his waist. I have a gash the size of Texas on my face, I feel incapable of moving, and emotionally, I'm broken right now. However, I got up. I got up after the pin. I'm standing. I'm ready for more. If this was a 3 stages of hell match, I'd be able to go into round two with full force.
I'm not taking anything away from Syrus. He showed me a beating first hand. He tore me open, and then put more hurting on me, but what I will say, is he didn't end me. Come Ring Rage, you will NEED to end me, or else I'll just bounce right back at you. I'm ready folks. I'm ready for the main event. I'm ready to take it all.
Ryan drops the microphone, and hobbles out of the ring. The scene comes to an end, with the conclusion of TakeDown.
