Last Week. The Nightmare was indeed finally OVER ! XCW was no more, thanks in part to the efforts of XXL & Genesis. As the XWA began the process of returning back to normal. A new problem for Genesis was about to come to fruition.
After a couple of matches have gone by during the Ring Rage PPV extravaganza. Genesis was in the process of being interviewed by Overload's own Joe Beakman.
JB: So Brandon Payne.... or.... Genesis, or whatever the hell you want to call yourself nowadays:
Its Genesis asshole. Brandon Payne was my "lets all be nice, and hold hands" days. Those days are over. The King is back, and now with the those XCW goons outta the way. I can begin my quest to grab what is rightfully MINE ! The XWA World Heavyweight Championship !
Fans begin to cheer Gen. on from the arena. As they watch the interview take place on the XWA Jumbo Tron.
JB: I guess to say that old habits die hard is an understatement, hmm ?
You could say that, JB. Whether I'm being myself, Brandon Payne. Or being the biggest, baddest, in-your-face, take no-non sense King of FUCKING Controversy ! The man, who puts more fear in promoters then the wrestlers themselves. Many many accomplishments have been earned under my name. Hell, I even accomplished a few things that normal people wouldn't be proud of. I've been fired 5 different times from 5 different organizations. I take PRIDE in these things. Wanna know why that is, JB ?

Attention was turned from Genesis' little interview segment to a relative newcomer from the blue show that'd been within earshot of the whole shebang...
From what? An invasion of sorts? Seems you were lookin' at the wrong end, there, buddy...
Well, it's not like it's that hard when you're head is up your ass... but, y'know...

The invader ya'll really gotta worry about is standin' right here. Scott Epic, at your service. See, I take a li'l offense to you not realizing where the REAL problem of XWA was. Scott Epic ? Nice name. Little bit of a nice ring to it also. Fact is, lil' man. I realize your new around town and... just like any rookie. You come in and want to try & tackle down the biggest, baddest dog in the yard you can find. To do something like that take guts. However, it also makes you look incredibly STUPID !
You see... I'm not just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill XWA Superstar. I'm one of the best guys around here, period. Its been a very very long time since I've had the chance to stick my foot up a rookie's ass.
Honestly... I don't see what is the "BIG Deal" with you. Your just another new kid on the block with a catchy name. Your very confident of yourself, I'll give you that. But ya lack pride, honor, and respect. Those three things my boy ? Go a LOOOOOOOONG way in determining the "good" superstars of this company, to the best. You and I at this stage of the game are on the opposite sides of the tracks.
So lets cut to the chase my man. Since you seem so adamant in wanting to prove a point to myself, and the XWA. Whaddya say you try and back up your words, bro ? You and me here tonight. One-on-One, here at Ring Rage !

Phew... so you're saying that I can just turn around, walk away, and this never happened? I can go back to being the new guy that isn't an issue, isn't bothered with, just sitting in obscurity?

He sighs, and begins walking away... for about a step before he busts out laughing and turns around.

Shit of that nature. So you've just made my day, Mr. Controversy... It'll be some good shit to see one of this company's "Xtraordinaire's" get his ass beat by some chump in his second match in the company. I'll have that bitch all posted all over Youtube the next day.
Because, hey, if you ever need any more explanation just why you just can't seem to grab onto the big ol' brass ring that is this place's World belt... All you'll have to do is look me up whippin' yer ass. |

Is it just me, or is this new generation of superstars getting stupider and stupider by the second. Kid please. You don't know what your talking about here. Listen, I was in your shoes at one time. I know what its like to be the new kid on the block. Ya wanna make a name for yourself. You want to get noticed.
Well lil man. Today's your lucky day. At Ring Rage. You will get noticed alright. Just not in the way you want it to be. If you think for a second your just going to walk in and take me down ? As the old saying goes: "I Don't Think So !"
Its not going to happen, kido. Live in your fantasy world. Or live in my world of which me and the other folks around here like to call reality. The reality is that you, as of this moment in time. The bottom man on the totem pole.
Nothing wrong with that of course. Other then it strains my neck having to look so far down at you. Talking about getting a cramp in your neck. When you stand at the top of the mountain and have to look allllllllll the way down just to see you ? It can really give you such a pain.
Regardless of my reputation. Regardless of who I am, and who I stand for. One thing is for sure. I hold nothing back, and give it my best shot everytime I step through those ropes.
For you, Mr. Epic. That is what I expect also. Your best. Don't half ass anything.
In this business kid. Respect is earned... not given.
Hopefully, some day. You'll learn that lesson. Hell, it might even be tonight. Either way it goes ? No matter if your the top dog in XWA, or swimming with the fishes at the bottom of the sea. The King will rise, and give his opponent everything he has to offer. Both inside the ring, and on the microphone.
Can you measure up to me ?
Can you keep up with me in the ring ?
Can you run with the big boys ?
Cause XWA is where the big boys play. Only time will tell. With that being said. Until later tonight, I wish you the best of luck. Because luck is the only thing that is playing on your side.  With that, Genesis turns his back and takes his leave from the scene. To prepare for his match later on this evening.
